A lot of times the best players don't play as much even at varsity levels

I agree with you guys but there are a lot of talent on all teams that don't see much if any play time for some reason. I believe the coaches in most cases play kids that have lots of political power in the county or families are boosters I believe these things can create a shorter coaching career than losing unless cretain kids are played.

Lee's complete coaches need replaced from top to bottom.... with people from away from Lee county. ... to much favoritism when you got little league coaches that make sure kids played for them play and much better players on the sideline.... if I were GC and Union coach I'd make a recruiting effort and pull a lot of good players that could be a strong asset to your teams. There are reasons 8 and 9 graders are dominating here then by the time in the 10 grade they are ruined!

Union_2017 I'm not sure what players but I'm on the team and I've not heard any of us say this is the only game we want to win. Would we like to win YES we would but if not it's on to the next one.The past is the past! No bad blood here! We're just a bunch of kids that love the game and love to entertain our fans and make money for the rest of the sports. Prayers for both sides for no injuries.

I was told they should be repaired before Friday for the game.

If the Pack hadn't made so many mistakes they would've beat us by more than 5. The Pack had a whole lot of turnovers, the most of any team we've played this year. I understand it's Ridgeviews 1st year and they will be much better in the coming years. It's just like the Union/ Lee game last year. We (Lee) should've never been in the position were that call cost us the game, we were inside the 10 several times and made mistakes and didn't score.

It appeared to me that he was down then tried to reach the ball across if he'd been a half of yard more it would've been a TD. You guys have a beautiful facility and was much better than I had expected. At the game everyone seemed really nice but we stopped at McDonald's in clintwood and some redneck about to try to start a fight with us. We just went in to get something to eat was coming out and started saying we were cheating SOB's. I'm just 14 years old so my dad being the bigger man told him "God bless and we'll pray for you."

I think the rain will equalize these 2 teams tonight. Gate city may have a lot better chance tonight, I think it will be a closer game than a lot may think. I would have rather us have played Union tonight instead of 2 weeks from now. Lol

We're proud of Dawson. The 2 TDS TW scored on us was the only 2 times he touched the ball. Most of Us Lee fans would love for him come to Lee High next year. Most of those kids are seniors.

Don't let the Lee vs J.I. Burton fool you we just had the worst showing in 3 years and Burton had a flawless game. BTW several of our starters were out and a couple were only 50% at best and most will be back this Friday. I know from this forum that you guys know all about people out and not 100% because of injuries. Either way looking forward to playing Friday night at RV I agree will be close but I think Lee will pull off the win.

Not sure what made Lee fall apart looked to me that Lee beat themselves even before the game ever started and I don't understand players still don't know that their starters and suppose to be on the field, sometimes Lee only had 9 to 10 people on the field. The Perrigan kid is a good player but My hat is off to their #33, he had a heck of a ballgame.

Ridgeveiw will have another L against Paintsville! Paintsville by at least 21 points. At this time there's not a player in SWVA that is close to compare to Kash Daniel and they have several more as good as anything we have. I hope I'm wrong though.

Just wanted to share how great Lee high's JV and middle school team done last night. The Middle school team won 30-18 and JV team won 46-22. I'm really looking forward to seeing these 2 Lee teams play together in a couple of years.

Union fans are like UT fans rude I hate being around them!!!! although they are a lot of good union fans as well!

We have several good backs, one of my favorites is #11 "Sparky" he may be small but has more heart than boys twice his size and the little sucker looks hard to take down. We have several 9 grade backs that are going to be tough to handle in a couple of years.

I heard that one of Union's "Athletes" that is a 2 way starter and very important to the Union program got in to some trouble and will miss several games. If this is true, the blues will take it by at least 2 tds. Honestly I'd like to see it by more!

I'd like to see Gate City win but Abingdon should win this one big.
