The jury is still out on how good this PH team. They will have to win at least one playoff game to even be considered better than last years team much less the best since whenever. Watch out in 2016 because their qb will be better with more experience, their rb will be a senior and an absolute beast, and their young line will be better

Wow. I'm a Rebel through and through but this kind of talk doesn't make Rebel fans sound very thoughtful. Humphrey is a good back but a D1 talent? The last D1 talent around here played at Richlands and he is at Marshall now. Go watch some of his film. I just think we need to be honest with ourselves and not pie in the sky. This is a winnable game for us. It will be an uphill battle but we will have be firing on all cylinders.

We have a very good running back, a good running QB and a decent line. We have to do what we do well and that is Run the ball. If we are forced to pass a lot then we could be in trouble. We do ok throwing the ball when we want to but not when we have to. Defensively we don't have the big hitters that we had last year but they are aggressive. The small noseguard is very tough and quick and the ends are really good. We cant let their backs get to the secondary. If we play our game and we tackle well defensively, we should be ok.

Congrats to the Falcons on a historic year.Very impressed with this group of seniors and their leadership. PH is the only team from our county left in the playoffs. Lets get behind them and support them (even Cavdaddy). They too have had a historic season, especially the win over Clintwood.

Come on PH!  Keep it up and represent!

Words can't describe how I felt Friday night. Definitely the greatest game I've been a part of as a fan and a parent. These kids are amazing. They fell behind early but didn't just give up. The difference in the game was PH going to the Wishbone on offense. I bet they ran the toss sweep left at least 7 or 8 times in a row because Cwood just couldn't stop it. Great running by Humphreys And Great blocking by the big guys!

With Abingdon finally turning things around and Holston and Battle having success these last few years, it's really odd to see that PH is the only one still going in the playoffs. But I'm really happy these teams are getting better and I'll be cheering PH on all the way. Go Rebels!

Galax wants to control the line of scrimmage and force you to throw the football.  However, they don't do a very good job defending the pass.  It will be interesting to see if PH can throw it to loosen up the Galax defense.  Offensively, Galax has nothing that resembles a passing game.  They have attempted 89 passes through 11 games with a completion percentage of less than 40%.  
 
Galax was 0-1 passing Friday night against Twin Valley.  To me, they had three quarters to work on it given a 35-0 lead after one quarter.  
 
It will bite them in the arse just like each of the past two seasons, its just a matter of when.
