  1. I’m here at the game. I think Abingdon will have to run the ball and really control the clock. If they don’t, they’ll get blown out.
  2. In my opinion it’s Glenvar, East Rockingham, Appomattox.
  3. I’ll start it off by taking a chocolate.
  4. As they should have, but still very unusual not to see atleast a couple plays out of the T. I like it though.
  5. The most interesting part of this game was that Union didn’t take one snap out of the T.
  6. As much as it pains me to say this, Central could be a real problem in a few years unless politics take over etc etc etc. When you play that many young guys the future has to be bright.
  7. Had more to do with some transfer(s) than the result of the game.
  8. Quite a few very interesting storylines heading into this game that I’m sure will spark conversation all day at the park tomorrow.
  9. Union welcomes Lee High to the park. Union showed a lot against Morristown West and May have played their best all around game of the year. Thoughts?
  10. I think inserting Gibson to corner and moving Jenkins to safety has improved the secondary quite a bit. It sucks for Falin though because I thought he was doing a pretty good job back there.
  11. Union travels down to take on Morristown West. I feel this will be a great challenge for Union, and I honesty don’t feel the best about it. They were down to their 3rd string QB last year and gave us all we wanted. Thoughts?
  12. I’m not sure how to feel about the offensive situation. I know the offensive coaches have the ability to throw in some more complex systems because in 2015 the Union offense was dynamite. Of course you had some amazing athletes on that team, so take it with a grain of salt. I know this years athletes don’t match up to those, but I feel they should be capable of opening it up much more than they are.
  13. Likewise, I look forward to a possible rematch. Other than the outcome, I think we all had a good time yesterday and last night.
  14. I do wish they were used more. I’m not sure it would have made the biggest difference tonight though.
  15. I agree with this. With the way the game went, I’m surprised the score wasn’t worse than it was. #7 for Ridgeview was all over the field. Very impressive. Congrats.
  16. Any analysis from the game? It seemed like VA High May have struggled more than expected
  17. That SHOULD be fine. However, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if 6 was cutting it tight.
  18. I know weather apps are some of the most unreliable information out there, but it looks like we are gonna be okay. All things considered of course
  19. Even if Union were to win by 40 points i’d Be disappointed that it wasn’t a classic. Lol.
  20. The arm strength really sticks out. Some people at the game tonight who hadn’t seen him play let out a collective, “woah” when he started slinging the ball around.
  21. It’s gonna be one for the ages. Union has improved dramatically from what they showed in the Burton game. They grew up during the Richlands game. Now, they get to come to the Ridge and take on the Wolfpack. It could go either way. Bears 27 Pack 23
  22. Also very true. Union is developing into a very, very dangerous team. Turner played very well tonight.
