  1. I'm pretty sure the plan IS to eventually get rid of Clinchco Elementary, but it is still there as far as I know. Haven't been by there in a few months either. Saw some special games in that gym over the years, Sandlick or as of yet Ridgeview's gym haven't created those magical moments yet.
  2. I would rather see Ridgeview's games at Clinchco, other than the gym they have now. But Clinchco Elementary is no longer used for anything now sadly. I remember Haysi playing Radford there in the state quarters several years back.
  3. Girls will be the same place as the boys, I'm sure.
  4. Do you know if both Wise Central/Lebanon girls games count as a point each, or does just one of those games count for both points? I factored in Wise Central getting two points for beating Lebanon earlier in the season before I noticed that they played them again before the end of the season.
  5. More or less... Realistically, Battle will only get 3 more points, and that's if they make up the Lee High game that got postponed. I didn't see on the schedules where or if that one got rescheduled.
  6. So, I went back and looked at the schedules in this forum and saw that Wise Central girls played Lebanon already this season and play them again before the season is over. The 7 points I factored for Central included 2 points for the win they already had over Lebanon, so I guess that really should be only 1 point since they play them again, meaning they would have 6 correct?
  7. I have also now heard that James River will be the host of the regionals.
  8. It's the final week of the regular season, here are the current CMC standings: Boys: 1. Gate City 12 points 2. Union 10 points 3. John Battle 6 points 4. Wise Central 6 points 5. Lebanon 5 points 6. Lee High 2 points 7. Ridgeview 1 point Girls: 1. Wise Central 11 points 2. Gate City 9 points 3. Ridgeview 9 points 4. Lebanon 6 points 5. Union 5 points 6. Lee High 2 points 7. John Battle 0 points
  9. Finals from tonight: Girls: Ridgeview 60, Lebanon 35 Boys: Lebanon 61, Ridgeview 55 Ridgeview had the lead at half but was trailing by 7 by the end of the 3rd quarter. Wolfpack and Lee look set to be 6 and 7 seeds now for the conference tournament.
  10. I don't like that the first matchup (at least in the SEC anyway) is the one and only one that counts toward the standings. I don't like the way the CMC does theirs either, but at least theirs is a little clearer, with both matchups awarding a point for a win in the standings, and everyone's matchup with Lebanon counting as two points.
  11. No need in creating another thread for it, but Ridgeview hosts Lebanon tomorrow night. Ridgeview defeated Lebanon at the UVa-Wise tournament, but from what I heard, Lebanon was playing with a couple of key players out, so will probably be much tougher tomorrow night on the Ridge.
  12. Steve Honaker was the reason why the first game was close, otherwise Ridgeview would've won.
  13. OK. Sorry didn't realize they had already played twice. My bad.
  14. I think that will come down there in a couple of weeks.
  15. Sorry man, but a 15 point win over Lebanon doesn't impress me all that much.
  16. Heard about that... Lol. Probably won't miss those down in Scott County.
  17. Dan River throttled Chatham tonight in a rematch of a game that Chatham won earlier in the season.
  18. Girls finals: Gate City 45, Ridgeview 39 Central 54, Union 40 Lee 56, John Battle 52 Boys, 30 seconds in, Central 7, Union 0.
  19. Ridgeview girls lost. I wasn't there, so not sure if Gulley played tonight or not... But the loss hurts bad.
