Sixcat I had the same type of reaction to the turf at Mitchell. It broke me out bad when I played I hate that for the kids.

Yeah our line didn't look to good but 2 of them have never played a down of varsity football. They will improve alot as the season gets older. And we should still have plenty for fc but we will all see friday. And you've also got to look at our 4 TO'S those killed 2 scoring drives and penalties took three points off the board.

Glenvar will he a good team this year. Galax is just young but they will be there at the end like always. Dixon will have the more than ready come Nov.

Granted it was Montcalm but like Bulldogs52 said it doesn't matter who it is. I'm a GW fan but all of us have to respect Tazewell this year. Those 24 young men came out to play. In the mist of numerous coaching changes. So those kids are showing pride in their school and a respect for their program by coming out. Even if they don't win a game oh well they are still busting ass to play the game they love. Best of luck to the Bulldogs this season.

Yes that's him he was a monster out there. And I wish him the best of luck going forward. I think you guys will be fine even if a sputter happens I think they will work it it when it matters.

Sixcat what all do you guys have back on the line? Is that monster #65 back? That kid was killer last yesr.

For GW I see 9-1 realistically Galax give us fits we've all seen it. I can see us wining that game but it will depend on line play. And if we can stop the traps and counters. I can also see Marion giving us a game this year the hype is good for them this season. Now yes we've lost a few great players but we have well enough to replace it. We definitely have the talent back we need for another run. Beamer a 3 year starter 3 very solid returning linemen and 2 who will fill very nicely. Our backfield should be something special we have 5 really good backs who will all see time. We will be young but that hasn't been a problem in the past. We could see Will Russell at QB if he is still at that position. And that's true I wish we could've seen him at full health.

Yeah the Sanchez kid is good legit talent. I'm curious to see how losing Delp will affect them. And PH is going to be good again but they lost a few good kids. And you don't replace Dakota. But I will say the kid they had to back him up last year was either a Fr. or a So. and he had the potential to be special.

Chilhowie was young last year and with Joey Russell heading the O they should be pretty good. They should win the HOGO easy this year.

Thanks for the update I couldn't make it due to work. How bad did they beat us lol?

GW had 40 on day 1 of practice but alot more are expected to show up after vacations are over. That's how it usually is at GW last year we had around 40 week 1. And ended up with 54 so I think our #s will improve.
