Am i missing something on where they might need help if Richlands wins and Grayson loses? By the cheat sheet if Richlands wins they will have 194. If Union, Blacksburg and Byrd win they will end up with 197. Union and Blacksburg are almost for sure wins. That would put them at 196. The most Grayson can get if they lose is 195.

Yeh true. Graham didnt play well that night. Lots of dropped balls by Cooke and some mishandles. Not sure what VHS will be running but if they go spread i like Richlands chances. For the most part they seem to play better D against spread teams rather then multi-set backs. Example, Union usually runs for almost 300 yds every game,against them it seems. VHS has a good team but their QB worries me,the most. Hes small but very quick and elusive.

When u say both lose u mean Grayson and Lee and they would still need help? From your sheet it looks like if Grayson loses and Richlands wins they are almost for sure in. Even if Byrd loses, which is the only if game for them they will still end up with 196 and Grayson with 195.

I wasnt knocking VHS for the Graham game. Was just saying thats the only time ive seen them this year. I believe thay are a better team than what they showed that night. Thats why i said this game is too close to call for me.

I think some people are underestimating Grayson. Wouldnt surprise me if they win. I think itll be closer than some expect. They have the same scenario as Richlands. Win and in.

This means nothing. You know Graham dominated VHS and Richlands took them to OT. It will be a good game. I agree whoever scores 24 points wins.

Yes he did. Race is Qb when they go spread and Trey is Qb otherwise. Also had Johnson running ball. I know it was against Lebanon but his first carry as a rb goes 50 yards for a Td. They may have found a little something. If they can just make the playoffs they may give a top team a very good game.

Hope it works out for them. They will be better off to have Mitchell full time catching the rock. They already have a handful of good running backs. If Richlands doesnt make it im pulling for Graham amd Union.

I believe Virginia High will be a tough game for Richlands. Luckily its at Richlands.

I dont see how with Battle and Lee with 5 wins.

Its possible. I believe they have a good chance with GW. Galax would be tougher.

Have they found them a QB or are they still running a lot of wildcat with Mitchell? Also, is Turner done for yr or will he be back for playoffs?

And sometimes bad play calling. I guess some never learn. See Appo game 2015 and last nights game. Im no football coach by any means but common sense can win you some games too. When Richlands scored to go up and got the ball back with about 3 mins left i was saying to myself, please keep doing what got you back in this ballgame. But nope, 3 runs up the middle for about 2 yards and only kills a little over a minute. Marion gets ball, scores and wins. I hate seeing this at any level especially when you are struggling running the ball. 2 minutes is a lot of time at the end of a football game. I can see doing this with under a minute left but not 3 minutes. Why dont you keep doing whats working?
