Central will win and win big. Their new QB is the real deal.
Depends on if he’s 100%, coming off the field at the end of a quarter in a jamboree barley able to put any weight on his leg/ankle/foot has me a little worried. Don’t know specifics.
We seem to have a completely new look offensively. Nothing like the Wing T run game as it has been the past couple of years. I don’t think we took a snap under center at all last night. The QB transfer from Maryland has awesome field awareness and fairly quick on his feet.
Both teams seemingly moved the ball down the field on each other. I think Central could stop the run game pretty well but kind of got picked apart through the air defensively with the exception of one pick six that would have been brought back by a penalty had it been a real game scenario.
The final tally was 5-3 Central with the Warriors varsity scoring 4 tds, all of Lebanons scores came from their varsity squad.
I think it may be legit. I got the Virginia High schedule off of HUDL. Just this morning I verified with Marion that they are playing Grundy Oct 20th. PERHAPS Va High thought that they were playing Grundy and found out late that they weren't and had to find an opponent?
Spoke with the head coach at Jenkins, he said they reached out to him needing a game due to a scheduling conflict.
Every year people from Central get on the message board and proclaim that. 1. They have this "super group" of athletes coming. 2. They are going to dominate the next season 3. Not just in football but every sport. Same post every year, same results every year!
That class of 2039 is looking real finesse. Just sayin….
Coaching change plus young team. They should get better the next few years. If the Wise parents can keep their mouths shut that should become an elite program.
Well, it's gameday! Not a lot of chatter about this one. Can the Wolfpack repeat their defensive mastery of week 2 or will the Warriors turn the tables and get revenge from the regular season? Also, how will the cold weather come into play?
I think we know what needs to be done from both sides of the table, Central will have the regular season loss weighing in their mind coming into this one. While On the other hand Ridgeview is looking at revenge from the fog bowl in 2019.
Plus it’s Rivalry week part 2. Should be a classic. Adrenaline should keep the cold weather only a factor to those that’s in the stands (Which hopefully is not that bad)
