So your theory is, or you’re implying, Graham is faking Covid to get out of playing Richlands???? If they’re in a fake quarantine, that would leave, what a couple days to prepare for Union??? That totally sounds legit 🙄 . Grasping much?? I don’t have a kid on the team so I can not say for 100% what’s going on but I’ll make a trip to Bluefield Walmart tomorrow to see what I can find out & we’ll compare notes then.

Did I mention Graham was quarantined? I didn’t reference a particular team or school. I did read on another post, they were on vacation. I could go for a nice vacation myself. Thursday sounds like a good day to head south for warmer temperatures. 😂

Not sure why VDH would be making phone calls regarding pee tests and quarantining people over tainted urine but whatever conspiracy helps you sleep better at night 😂. Powerpoints should have been the standard anyway especially if breaking a tie. Drawing from a hat is stupid if the overall records are different and power points are different.

The real question is , will the game even take place? I presume we’ll know more by this time tomorrow.

My guess is Graham 1st & Tazewell 2nd since they beat Richlands. Who knows?

Is it still 10 days if other players test negative? Or do they alL quarantine for 10 days period? The Covid guidelines from CDC have changed but I wasn’t sure of TCPS policy?

Depends on how much blowback Chris Stacy is willing to take. They could technically go by WV guidelines if they wanted.

I would like to see the Blevins who came in for Lester at Richlands when Lester was ejected. Blevins did have a couple nice runs Saturday night. You don't see that too often. Hopefully, the O Line gives him plenty of time to throw. By the same token I hope our D Line can drive Cox out of the pocket quickly. I also hope Richlands can't take Bradshaw out of game like Tazewell did. Dawgs did a nice job making one of our playmakers a nonfactor. If Tazewell & Graham were to meet again this season, Graham needs a different game plan to offset Bradshaw being covered up.

Jordan was phenomenal. He did a great job taking out the Bradshaw factor just as Graham defense limiting Harris’s performance. All in all, just a great game and match up. I thought Graham came out flat first half but got it together 2nd half. Graham’s O Line & D Line though overall young held up well.

I don’t think my heart can take another one like tonight. I hope you’re predicting skills are accurate. I’d hate a 3 way tie and one team stays home because their name wasn’t picked from a hat.

Richlands has improved since the first meeting. I think key for Graham’s defense is to limit Webb’s ball handling and step up pressure on Cox. Defense played well against Tazewell. As far as offense, O line held its own against a slightly bigger and overall more seasoned Tazewell line. I’d run it as much as I could & be very stingy with passing game unless it’s short passes. I look for Richlands to key in on Bradshaw more so than Fritz. I could be wrong though, won’t be the first time.

Tazewell should win by a hefty margin. They played Graham hard tonight. VA High won’t just roll over though. They hold their heads high and fight until the end even when the deficit is insurmountable.

Thanks for info. Graham radio announcers weren’t sure, said it may have been since Graham player was carrying ball out of the end zone. It was a heck of a game. Credit to the Dawgs.

I give Tazewell credit! They are legit. They are big & strong. It was the game of the season this far in my opinion.

The radio announcers for Graham eluded that Nunley fumbled it. No clue as to if he did or not as I wasn’t there either.

Kudos to Tazewell, they played hard and keep Graham in check. They are powerful! That was a thrilling game to say the least.

Graham’s offense is going to have to figure it. Defense despite the 10-0 lead for Tazewell is not doing that badly but definitely need to hold them on that opening drive of 2nd half. GMen are better than what they’ve shown. Tazewell living up to the hype. Kudos to them on their halftime lead 10-0.

I hate that for the boys on both sides. What do you do as a coach? Do they just sit in locker room? I guess there’s really no alternative.

Well, Tazewell & Graham are from same district, it should at least be consistent as far as SWD is concerned. I get only the 2nd game between Richlands & Graham counting as far as district standings. It’s the points thing that is messed up with select games counting but others not especially when points will determine where games are played.

That seems a bit off that Tazewell gets +1 points from their first game but Graham doesn’t??? That doesn’t seem logical or fair IMO.

Maybe Nunley took his starting spot , who knows? My stance has always been never to begrudge any kid of going where he & his parents think offer him the best opportunity whether that’s transferring to Graham, Richlands, Bluefield, Tazewell, etc.
