To be fair most of that kind of talk was two weeks ago or longer, I think they realize now, it’s not a given they take it all and the competition is stiffer than regular season & district playoffs. They’ve got some play makers but so does Graham. KW may very well win next Saturday. If their defense plays better than ours , they win. If our defense plays like today, GMen win.

The fans on VA Preps have a very high opinion of their team and some have stated several times , they would win state. They're obviously a premier team or they wouldn’t be in Salem next Saturday. I truly think it will come down to which defense plays the best. I hate Graham lost Sawyers & Blevins on D but credit to the coaches for making adjustments and the D still playing lights out without those two LB.

This seems to be a battle of the defenses. Graham has had to adjust with not having Sawyers & Blevins on D. I’d say GMen are one of the best defenses Appo has seen. Hope the GMen offense can capitalize on that kickoff 2nd half.

There are many options along I-81 or 460 to practice besides doing a behind the scenes deal to practice at the home team’s field without even running it by the home team’s head coach, Graham pays to use that facility. Princeton is a 10-15 minute drive from Comfort Inn. I’m not 100% sure how much in the know the city employee that I spoke with is but he said Appo paid nothing. If that’s the case it’s even more of a bad look for the town of Bluefield, WV. Does Appo have the right to practice on Friday, absolutely! Should they have been afforded the opportunity to practice at Mitchell without Graham even being asked, my answer is a resounding no! But like I said, I’m petty. Lol! Appo took advantage of a situation out of Graham’s hands, kudos to them! Ultimately, won’t affect the outcome today, it’s just unheard of in my opinion. This needs to propel Bluefield, VA to build our own stadium & quit giving Bluefield, WV tens of thousands of dollars every year to use Mitchell. Today is a new day! Game day! Let’s go GMen!!!!!! Bring home the win!!!!

Don’t know if they’re a team to watch out for but Bland boys beat Narrows in OT last night. Their coach is former Bluefield High School girls coach. He’s got a pretty impressive resumé.

No predictions but I hope somehow Holston, Abingdon, & Graham bring home the wins for Region D!!!! All three, the underdogs, today but I love it when the underdog comes out victorious! 🤞🤞🤞

Just kidding, he’s a great PA announcer and very fair. I admit he does say first down for GMen with a little more excitement than when it’s a first down for the opposing team but I’m okay with that. I hope he’s not saying “first down” Raiders very often tomorrow but first down repeatedly for GMen!!! 🤞🤞🤞

All kidding aside, it’s crazy and really unheard of as far as playoffs to even request practicing at the home team’s field the night before a playoff game when the home team’s coaches were unaware of the arrangement between the town and the visiting team. It’s a bad look all the way around in my opinion.

If I were Graham’s coaches, I’d definitely park myself in the bleachers while they practiced, lol. It’s only fair 😂.

They made zero! So, yes the goodness of their heart, apparently. Word on the street Appo is getting to practice free of charge, courtesy of the town of Bluefield, WV. Graham coaches were unaware until last night.

I agree with @Real Sasquatch, we definitely need to be friends if you’re the food & drink guy. Seriously, safe travels & look forward to a great game!
