Look, I’m a homer that says it’s a coaching issue vs being at low tide talent - wise. Here’s why I say that: #75 is a stud. #68 is a double stud with cheese. #55 is the stuff dreams are made of; the kind of kid position coaches fight over. #10 is a legit RB that can grind out yards or hit the home run. #12 is a break away threat. #2 is a break away threat. #21 is a deep ball / break away threat. You will never convince me that an OC like Gary Collier, Chad Gose, Gilbert Smith, or Nick Colobro couldn’t figure out how to use #15. #20 is a dependable, hard nosed runner. Granted, GC fans have been spoiled by HOF coaches... but you can’t tell me the guy at Bluefield... or Ridgeview... or Richlands... or Union... or Va High...or Battle... or PH... or Abingdon... or Chilhowie... couldn’t take these supposedly untalented kids and make the 2018 playoffs - much less play every game with a running clock. Now, that’s just the opinion of some idiot posting on a message board. Maybe I’m wrong; I’m wrong all the time.

I’d love to see the evidence myself. I think I’ve been the most optimistic GC fan, stating that I expect to be in the playoffs next season. That means that I expect that Darren Reed can win 4 games with a team that returns around 7 starters on both sides of the ball. But whatever - keep posting; I’ll keep laughing.

My argument? Either you are psychologically projecting or your reading comprehension leaves something to be desired. Either way, I hope you get help. There’s more to life than high school football. I’ll pray for you.

It’s becomes doubly funny when @UVAObserver, who has over 11k posts, suggests LL spends too much time on the board. Priceless content, & I hope I never get schooled like that. I can’t imagine the reaction of a Graham fan that was used to The Carlock Way if a GC fan looked at a MW season and said “They’re just in a down talent cycle”. Come on, man! Pretty common sentiment from EVERYONE they interviewed... It’s a big hassle for a job that pays $5k/year. Reed will be his own OC or DC, just depends on who he trusts. Colobro says he’s not coming back, but who knows.

Maybe not, but everyone needs to come out, spend money, enjoy the band, and give Chris Akers a big Legion Field goodbye, as this will be his last home game with GC.

Perhaps all these Richlands & Graham fans can oversee Mr. Akers’ replacement, as they have their fingers on the pulse of GC athletics and know all about it. 😂😂😂

⬆️ Poor Coach Gibson couldn’t watch... Great effort by both teams tonight. GC fans (who outnumbered Lee fans) have got their $ worth two weeks in a row. 3-7 looks realistic if we stay healthy.

Va High has the best RB in the area. The only problem is, he only plays LB. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Lee was CRAZY to fire Martin. As far as coaches feeling the pressure, you gotta wonder about the situation at Kingsport DB. That’s a high dollar job, and $ comes with expectations.

GC fans who live there and attend every game say it’s the coaches. Random guys on the internet from every place but GC who have never been to a game say it’s a cycle. Obviously the Scott County School Board agrees with us GC folk, because Mr. Akers’ replacement is already on the sideline. I, along with thousands of other GC fans, will continue to unconditionally support the kids. As for my opinions on Mr. Akers, I will continue to accurately depict his incompetence - just as anyone would if this cancer metastasized on your program.

We’re you there, sir? Did you notice the 6 bad snaps? 4 fumbles? The GC fans packed the stands and cheered all night. Stick to what you know, because you don’t know 💩 about what’s going on in GC, anymore than I know what’s up in Richlands.

The story: Richlands asswhooped a big rich high school in the state finals. Big Rich High complained like a bunch of bitches. The vh$l caved & suspended Richlands from the playoffs the following year. The ruling made the vh$l look like fools, allowed the Richlands coaches to be home for Thanksgiving, & accomplished little else.

I think #55 is doing a great job at guard. His drive blocking is beautiful. Too bad he’s not a twin so GC could have him in both spots. As I’ve said before, I think the 2018 o line features three potentially all-region players. This is why is it extremely frustrating to continually watch the opposing defenders crunch GC’s backs as they’re taking the handoff... and our pass protection: 🤢💩🤢💩🤢💩

Maybe GC will win out, slip into the playoffs, save the jobs of Chris Akers &@TheRealLaneKiffin ... 😂

What would the 93 team have done, playoff wise? I know they beat GC that year but not much else. Was McCommons their rb?
