Heard the new floor suffered significant water damage again this weekend. Can anyone verify? Didn't this same thing happen less than 2 years ago and they put down a new floor?
my bubble team union was beaten by gate city . I personally attended the PM vs Gate City gsme. Union losing to Gate City clearly places them off the bubble.

Still don't see how Parry McCluer is even in this topic. They are not in Southwest Virginia, as they are 60 miles past Roanoke heading up 81.
As everyone probably knows the GC @ Union game is at UVA-Wise tomorrow night. But what’s everyone’s take on this one? Union without Slagle and GC coming off a tough grind of 4 games last week. GC didn’t play too well vs Va High at UVA-Wise earlier this year. Is it going to be closer than most expect?
Just wondering what are you wanting to rank. PM is in Central Va, so If you are going to include them and Martinsville, you just about have to include all the Roanoke and Lynchburg area teams in the rankings as well.
You have to be able to defend to beat good teams. Gate City used to be known for their tenacious defense, but that has dropped off considerably the past few seasons.
Union lost Wes Slagle early in the game too. Eastside is good, but I wouldn’t base how good they are based on their game with Union. Not sure Union is going to fair well this year, especially if Slagle is lost for the year. And I hate to hear Slagle got hurt, wishing him the best on his MRI Tuesday. Eastside could very well make a run at the state tourney in 1A.
I think they are talking about girls here, not the boys. Eastside girls beating Union girls is definitely an upset.
I saw Tazewell tonight. The Transfer has made them my pick to come out on top of the Southwest District. The Transfer is LEGIT!!! Possibly best penetrating slashing point guard in SWVA. And she is 5,11” , I’m guessing.
Union put it on Tazewell tonight 72-35. Union is one of the contenders in the Mountain 7 District. Was Tazewell at full speed?
The all star game is the same day as the Bates Wrestling Tournament at... the Convocation Center. Traffic will be a nightmare. If you're not there at 6am then you're not getting a parking spot
I don't see it as a nightmare at all. Most of the traffic for the wrestling tournament will already be at the event. The attendance at the football game will not be significant.
Congrats to Appo no matter what happens in this game past 3 seasons been top dawg of 2A football. But I can only speak for myself in saying I'm glad its over and that arrogant fanbase will go back into hiding. Hate on me on you want but you never heard anything about them until 2014. Go BEARS
I've never seen a fan base yet of a successful team that people didn't think was arrogant, Union included. It goes with the territory. Also, you are not going to have much of a fan base if you have a losing team. #fact of life #2
How was Union's shift any different from the shift of a muddle huddle? Probably none in my opinion. I think the officials just blew the call because it was so unexpected.
I probably would have made the officials aware of the play before the game, just so there wouldn't be any surprises. But that didn't cost them the game. The subsequent 10 yard punt is what unfortunately killed them.
