I ranked Chilhowie 1st in 1D this last week. Lebanon still undefeated.

Lebanon won big Chilhowie beat SV by one. Impressive win for them but that was a very lackluster SV team from what I saw

I agree with those-if they come to pass it will give us some good day two matchups. Va High and Shelby Valley will be a must see

Chilhowie has 4 wins over AA schools and their only loss is to a AAA school.

This is the basketball forum, but what a dumb statement. ”Wasted” = going to the state finals two out of the last three years.

I know of a lot of schools that just make them up lol. Nothing like seeing an article that says a kid averages 30 points and 14 rebounds a game or some craziness like that.

I ranked based on far SWVA region D-Wythe might be the best team in C and I’m sure Narrows is right there. Wythe was dominant at Va High

6’5, 6’8 and 7’0 on the front line-it’s not really a stretch

Not sure I would place her above McAmis just yet but I think ultimately you will be correct in that her ceiling is much higher

I wouldn’t say handily, but the Tigers did struggle with Leb’s size. Honaker shot much better in the second round against Abingdon-they will need to shoot well without Lowe to beat good teams.

I’m curious as to if this study had a breakdown between male/female. Anecdotally, I would see holding back as being more detrimental to females since they typically mature faster.

Weapons typically refer to skill players-someone with your extensive film work should probably have that terminology down by now. Lebanon isn’t going to stop the run-that’s a given. They have a chance in a shootout because Grundy’s pass defense is suspect, but the field’s poor conditions will favor the running team. We were right there last week until Lowe got hurt. I can see why Leb feels like they have a shot, but the field makes it tough to run routes and make cuts which is what Leb’s best players do well

Lebanon does have more weapons, but when the field is a mud bog it doesn’t matter. That field is truly an embarrassment and borderline unsafe between the poor lighting and the swamp like footing/rocks.
