You are right I did say that. It came out wrong I guess. I think he has done a fine job I'm not taking anything away from him. It shouldn't have been typed.
I deleted my post. I should not have said anything. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Everyone hates losing but I think Ridgeview will be fine. If Abingdon beats Union this week it will make it sting a little less I hope. Most of us are not on the sideline on Friday nights and really don't know why certain calls are made. I have all the confidence in our coaches and I think they will learn from their mistakes as well. I am with you @HaloSports2 go kill a big deer and get back on track these next 2 weeks and roll into the playoffs firing on all cylinders.
I am not up to date on the playoff seeding and such as much as I used to be.
What will Glenvar out pointing Ridgeview effect? The playoffs are set up like they used to be now with 4 regions(groups) and if both are a 1 seed what will it effect. I know, not too many years ago, the VHSL did the east and west section but have gone back to the 4 regions I think? Again I am not up to date so someone can fill me in on the setup for playoffs. Granted a lot of football is to be played and each team could lose. I would like to just know the playoff format.

After watching Union play a couple times I have noticed 2 coaches have backpacks on the whole time. My question is what do you think is in the backpacks?
They are from Beckley, WV. The singer is from Tazewell. I’m good friends with those guys and have played in several bands with them over the years. They let us use the song.
They play in our region all the time. I HIGHLY recommend getting out to see them. Amazing musicians.

The wife and I really like local bands and will definitely look them up. Maybe we could start a thread somewhere on the site and everyone list some local bands they really enjoy.

Ridgeview should be up and have a running clock in the 2nd half. If they make some of the same mistakes as they did last week with turnovers, Lee High could keep it close for a while. If you let a team hang around sometimes they can pull an upset. I don't think that will happen but after last weeks big win a slow start and/or overconfidence could keep it closer than it should be in the 1st half. Ridgeview pulls away in the 3rd quarter.

Wow scrap the offense and fire the whole staff. Are we talking about Union or GC here? I guess the next thing is to start a petition and get Phil back on the sidelines. Reed is going to save GC and maybe Phil can save Union from going 8-2 or better every year. I personally think you have one of the best Head coaches in SWVA.
