  1. I agree. The Dogs seem to have some confidence coming into this one, That is big for them. Tazewell has some talented players and good size and strength on the line. They are trending up, so is Graham. I think for Tazewell to have a chance to win, they will have to capitalize with their possessions, put up a lot of points and protect Creasy at all cost. He won't have time to stand in the pocket, but he is very good at the short and intermediate passing game too and has several athletic receivers. If Graham crowds the line and Creasy is able to get the ball out of his hands, could be trouble for Graham. On the other hand, stopping Graham's balanced offense, especially the run-game will be a challenge for Tazewell. IF the Graham penalty machine shows up, that could hurt Graham. Hoping for a great, injury free game and good weather.
  2. I think the kids are playing with confidence. I'm sure they'll give it their best shot.
  3. "Artificial" noise makers seem to be the problem. Farting the wrong way is allowed... Silence the phones, however.
  4. Still a lot of football left to be played. I don't think anybody has penciled in their team as region Champs. Everybody is naturally talking numbers when they come out. Also, nobody should take another team lightly, anything can happen in high school football.
  5. I think Tazewell's offense wiil pose challenges for Graham's defense. For Tazewell to win, they will have to protect Creasy and capitalize on their possessions and out - pace Graham. Graham's running game will pose problems for Tazewell. If the penalty machine shows up for Graham, it could bite them in this one. Both teams have made good progress the past 2 or 3 weeks and are playing well. Should be interesting.
  6. In my old age, I'm more about just eating jerky, screaming at the top of my lungs and throwing rocks. I'm sure he has nothing to worry about. As for smelling horrible, you could be on the money with that one.
  7. Yeah, when the announcer said something about the fans and the cowbells, I thought that was too over the top. I laughed out loud about that. I'm sure he is just doing what he is told to do. I'm sure that's coming from somebody higher up in the county.
  8. All in good fun. Of course I respect Giles and their tradition and the train horn. I don't like the announcements about the noise makers either. I remember the days when all the teams had cowbells, air - horns jugs of rocks , those (vu - vu zela's - not sure if I spelled that right). Just a little rib poking, all in fun of course.
  9. I'm lucky that I'm awake enough to drive. I am a slow driver, so I'm sure most people are passing me.
  10. Lol. I'll go with whoever wins that one.
  11. I have ties to both schools, so I support both. It does get a little too quiet at Graham games sometimes.
  12. At last check Appo was up 40-0 at half over William Campbell.
  13. You are mistaking us for Graham, not quiet or boring at THS, never has been. We just don't need toys to be loud.
  14. Yeah, then you will get to play with your horns and bells.. lol.
  15. Pulaski hasn't punted all night. Graham cannot stop them.
  16. Riverheads 21 Draft 3 Early 4th.
  17. Central Woodstock 35 Luray 7 late 3rd.
  18. I agree. Pulaski is moving the ball well and winning the battle on the line of scrimmage. Graham is very fortunate to have been the recipient of 4 turnovers.
  19. Central - Woodstock 35 Luray - 0 Almost Halftime.
