I think this game will tell us a lot about Graham. If they squeak by or lose and continue to make the mistakes they have been making all year, Im not sure at this point in the season they can overcome all of that. They have to play more disciplined football. I wasn't overly impressed with the play of Riverheads when I watched them, but, I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail in the way they came on and off the field, the uniforms, few penalties, etc...they looked the part. I will take a disciplined team over an undisciplined team in the playoffs any time. Graham got its act together somewhat last season late in the year in terms of the mistakes, but had the talent to overcome some of that. Not sure if they can overcome the mistakes this season, some very talented teams out there. Clements looked around 80% last week and Graham seems to be more confident with him in there. Jennings looks to be nearly 100% and is starting to cause havoc on defense and Lilly has really made strides in the place of Hughes on defense. The O-Line has done better in the blocking aspect of the game, not letting their opponents get under their pads and push them around so much. I think a lot of the issues can be attributed to youth. Still gotta work on the holding penalties. Graham surely is not out of the conversation at all.

In the Graham game, both teams looked really sloppy and unprepared. Not the best barometer to measure by.

My prediction on this game may change based on the route that the bus driver takes. (seriously). If they go over the back of the dragon and get all of those boys car sick, then it could be a close contest. If they go up to Abingdon and back to 81 or 77 to 81 through Bluefield, then Dawgs win big.

I think that glorious Dragon Bowl trophy stays put.

For Graham, I expect Daniel Jennings and Gage Palmer to make an impact for Graham's varsity. I also think that Cambel Fix will get plenty of playing time as a freshman.

My thoughts exactly. They need to protect Creasy and either have him roll out or have plays that develop very fast. He won't have time to stand in the pocket with A Coe coming after him. I think Tazewell can have success running the ball out of the spread and with the short passing game. They will need to keep a RB in the backfield to help deflect Coe away from the QB on passing plays.

All teams go through cycles where they are down like that. I like it when all 3 Tazewell County teams are competitive.

I'll take Tazewell 34-21. Tazewell is healthy and even though V-High played Graham close, I wasn't overly impressed with Graham or V-High in that game.

In the SWD, I think Graham takes the reigns back from V-High. Graham returns most of the team, plus a couple of key additions. V - High lost their big man and a couple of key players.
