I agree. Only undefeated team in school history. Only team to win 15 games in one season. Graham has now won 29 of their last 30 games, let that sink in.

Just arrived in Salem. Dressed in my Graham gear. Some Central fans asked me how good the G men are. I said "pretty good". One of them said, they had better be.... I said, don't worry, they wont disappoint. Don't get me wrong, he was nice and cordial, said a lot of good things that he had heard about Graham, but pretty confident about his team also

The championship game will be different. It will be done more professionally by NFHS, similar to WV metronews. Can't wait to hear "You don't wanna go to war" chant in the stands...

They seem pretty confident

Their QB has a good arm and he has the ability to escape pressure and dump it off too. I think their M.O. has been to try to establish the run first, but they are certainly capable of tossing the ball around. Stopping #40 will not be that easy, even if you win the battle at the line, that kid hits the hole at full speed and he's bring about 230 lbs with him (Listed at 219 - I don't believe that for a minute). They have won impressively the last 2 weeks as the playoffs have went on, they seem to have gotten better with each round. Their DE is similar in size to Connor Roberts and much like Roberts is a handful also. He will cause problems for Graham's O - Line. Can't wait, this should be a great matchup. Hoping for Graham to have at least one more point when all of the dust is settled.

Yes, they are a well balanced team. I think they are a run first team, but are very capable of throwing it when they need to. Stopping the run won't be an easy task, they have 3 RB's that are pretty good. #40 hits the hole hard on most plays. # 23 and # 21 are both shifty and have decent speed. The QB is tall and has a good arm and can escape pressure. That team has all of the pieces. I think Graham must win the battle at the line of scrimmage to win this game.

I'm not making a prediction. I predicted Graham would win last year and it jinxed them. So, no prediction from me.

Agree with this Central is a very dangerous team. The qb has a good arm and can escape pressure. Good running game. #40 is a beast. #21 and #23 more then sufficient speed. The lineplay is very good. They have 23 seniors. If you ask me, Graham may be the underdog in this one.

They didn't need to pass the last 2 games. They ran for over 400 yards yesterday.

Cal Preps now has it 31-26 in favor of Graham. 61 % chance of winning. Has Riverheads 35 - George Wythe 21 with an 81 % chance of winning.

From what I have seen on video, their line looks big and looks pretty dang good.

Graham will have to limit the penalties that bring back big plays. Central is the type of team that can control possession and play keep away and then end up scoring on their possessions. Central has a big, strong line that has been pushing around their opponents. They also return 20 of 22 starters and have 23 seniors on their team. They have a fullback that is like a bowling ball when he runs the ball and he lead blocks for a running back that hits the hole hard every time he carries the ball. They are well-coached, play very disciplined football and don't make a lot of mistakes. They are the type of team that will wear you down over the course of the game with their physical play. Defensively, they are very stout and are athletic at the linebacker and db positions. They don't have a ton of team speed, but they have enough. They stop their opponents at the line of scrimmage and get pressure on the QB in passing situations. Do I think Graham can win? Yes. Do I think Central can win? Yes. Graham will have to play smart, play hard and everybody has to be on their A game, that includes coaches and players. Clements will be the x - factor. If he is contained, it will be hard, but not impossible for Graham to win this game.
