  1. I had seen the video earlier, was wondering if it would trend, guess so. Pretty sure there is enough blame to go around. While the coach did probably push and grab, he didn't swing. At that point he also could play the card of protecting the girls, assuming that with what the guy was saying, he intended harm. His saving grace, to me at least, is he didn't swing or anything and was pretty much immediately, as soon as he kind of had him restrained, was motioning for others to come and get him. It's being blown up more than it really should be in that nobody threw any punches (like the infamous little league brawl from a couple years ago....wait Central was involved there too, wasn't it....do they provoke everybody??? *lol*) With the way the guy was leaning into it, and since it sounds like he had been a problem before, there is the possibility of playing the protecting players card, afterall nobody else was there to it and he didn't know, he controlled the scene and requested back-up. I'd think since the guy had coached a long time in the past apparently and unless he had issues before, it sort of makes it easy to point in one direction as the fault at least.
  2. Most of the ones pulled back they still scored on. It was mostly the type of holds I hate, the player away from the side who didn't need to do it. The ones that drive coaches crazy. It's like the play goes right, the pursuit from the left had no chance to get to them but let me hold them just to make sure. It's those out iin space holds, you can get away with the inside holds more often than not. It's why they say you could call a hold every play, probably true, it's why the inside ones get by, hard for refs to see but those outside, trying to keep someone going by, they call everytime, even if the player is 20 yards away. And always seems to be a big play.
  3. Definitely was a matchup problem for the Wolfpack. Couldn't stop Grahams back, and couldn't get the time to get ball into their playmakers hands. Good coaching by Graham no doubt. The crowd and them was getting on the refs, but some of them were obvious and in most cases, not needed. Impressive performance by Graham all in all.
  4. most of those have been untouched, a lot on his own and not due to holds lol
  5. I think there was a bigger hold on the long run, but scared to call it again. So on that regard I guess it worked.
  6. RV held, got the ball at the 1 couldn't move it and then the special teams were unspecial and had a 7 yard punt
  7. Graham just basically turned and ran up the gut repeatedly, and like I said Ridgeview isn't attacking, they are waiting to catch them, afraid to get beaten on a big play. Good smart series, calmed Graham down and got RV frustrated.
  8. Good smart, series being called. Taking simple stuff, and RV did something stupid and got a personal foul
  9. Ridgeview has to play defense, like waiting to catch someone, they are unable to attack Graham much at all.
  10. First play, Graham could have been called for a hold there, think the refs were scared because it didn't affect the play really lol
  11. Wolfpack with the long, surprisingly open TD. QB was killed, slow to get up. XP missed.
  12. Also go with the common assessment, when you win a lot, the fans end up being idiots too much. Just like cheering them on, the negative energy goes and causes them to blow up on stupid stuff. I say this from seeing my team and fans do it before too.
  13. Graham is being their worst enemy. I don't know that every call is right but they have been doing a lot of stupidity and losing composure that it is called. It may not hurt them in this game, I think most people figured they would win this by 2-3 scores.
  14. I will admit my bias, but Graham is good, but they are also very undisciplined and this crew is calling them on it and it is getting in their head. It's almost like the hold them every time, the refs will get tired of calling it mentality, and it doesn't look to me like they need to do that.
  15. They definitely look for the backside on the wildcat and its there most times so far
  16. Someone asked radio, I read 93.5 was covering it somewhere, no idea if it's true. Ridgeviews LBs have to not over pursue, Graham has pretty much cut back from the mass of humanity, broke 1 tackle and went to the house. Ridgeview's O-line has to give a bit more time as Grham is putting a lot on quick pressure. It's there if they can get a second to find it, but Graham says no seconds will be given. As much as I want Ridgeview to win, and still think they can, they need to make a few adjustments and hope that whatever adjustments Graham makes bites them in the butt. If Graham takes opening kick and makes the lead 21, I woulld think the game, for all intents, would be over. Both sides know that, a lot of metal getting ready to be tested.
  17. Graham has a jailbreak defense going, they make the QB or whomever make a quick play, if someone makes a quick play they can bust it but you got to be quick and line has to step up, read where they are coming from.
  18. Graham is using their speed incredibly well so far. Big plays on returns, and runs. Quick off the ends not giving QB much time. RV is in the game which is helpeful, thye are going to have to make some adjustments, they play Graham is physical, borderline dirty on some shots and got some calls for that. Part of that is to get in RV head no doubt, and it's working on the QB (IMO). As always I hate an announcer that is a cheerleader more than an announcer. Don't like it when it's for us, or against us, just takes away from the game to me.
  19. There is a risk/reward thing there, sometimes it can come off as a bit much but with the chance to get fast clock, it can help because you keep players off the field more, reduce chance of injuries on something stupid.
  20. I don't quite get the call right at the half, might have been better to went to the half down 20 but trying to do something with no time and 60 yards is risky, caused the QB to take a clean hard hit, and didn't look the same afterwards.
  21. Who are the coaches that are being criticized, I haven't kept up enough to know who is in what rolls. I also never heard anything about Tiller, just a chance to go to Honaker, so if there is more, please advise. Actually have gotten back to a few games this year, definitely is some responsibility missing, at least to me.
  22. Ridgeview has lost their focus, this is going to get out of hand if not careful
  23. I didn't have much to go on, but one of the things I had heard was that Graham could hurt them on the lines. Possibly wearing them down.
  24. I'd say Graham practiced for Ridgeview, not looking ahead. Gridiron60 is right, I was more happy that Ridgeview played well out of the gate, got to protect the ball a bit better. We know Graham can score quickly as well.
