  1. so much for that...lost the first one and down in the second game...Nats are 9 back...annual collapse still in play lol.
  2. Grundy needs to come out ready to play 4 this week. They have taken most of the 1st Q off every week so far...can't do that against the G-Men or it''ll be ugly fast. Grundy is better than people give them credit for, they are just not playing as good as they can play yet. They have had a lot of problems with wrapping up on tackles and being in the right place on defense. If they will tackle like they are supposed to and will go where coach Ward tells them to go, then it should be a good game. If they don't wrap up and don't listen to the coaches when they tell them where to make adjustments, then it's going to be a long game. They have done well at making adjustments so far, the problem is that it's not been 100%...and the few plays that they have been caught out of place or don't execute the way they are supposed to...they have paid for it. Grundy can put 40+ up on the board most weeks if the line buys them the time to do it...they are going to give up some points on defense, it's just going to come down to how many they can score without turning the ball over on offense and how much they can control the clock in the process...that's the key points for this week I think. For Graham...it's going to be interesting to see how many TD's they can score running straight up the gut...and you already know that it's coming.
  3. i wonder what they were talking about with 310 rushing yards then? I clearly heard them say it twice? lol.
  4. down to 4 now, the nats blew it tonight to help the cause.
  5. how many rushing yards did Graham have? Paper said 281 total yards but they said 310 rushing on the radio? whats the deal? Anyone know?
  6. glad to hear he is ok...any time a kid just drops like that when nothing is going on it is a scary thing.
  7. I was listening to the radio on the way home from the Grundy game and heard he collapsed on the track after the game...last report i heard was he was in an ambulance with his mother on oxygen headed to the hospital. Anyone have an update? Sure hope he's ok...sounded like a really scary moment from the radio guys.
  8. any updates on Nick? hope he's doing better...that was a nasty looking cut on his foot.
  9. down to 6 now... hope getting Heyward back for the playoffs will step thing sup again.
  10. good thing Braves had such a huge lead...they are doing everything they can to give it away in September as usual...wtf? with the magic number at 7 they can pretty much cruise home...but why do they do this every year????
  11. Russia and Iran provided them in the first place, so I'm sure Putin just said "hey do what we say and we'll give you more later"...Russia doesn't want a conflict, they want to maintain control of Syria and Iran...that's their biggest stronghold in the middle east. This way they keep control, avoid conflict that could result in them not keeping control, and look like the good guys while making Obama look like more of an idiot and making everyone else in the world think the USA is just sticking it's nose where it doesn't belong...it's a win-win-win-win situation for Russia.
  12. Grundy's win against TV wasn't easy by any means. Game was a lot closer than the score would lead you to believe. How is Nick's foot? Is he going to be able to play? I saw a pic on facebook and it looks horrible. I feel bad for the kid, that has got to be a lot of pain. If he can't go that's going to put who, Biliter at QB? Who played for Grundy last year... Seems like every year we have the same story line to this game lol. Lebanon is not that good,. Grundy just gave up the ghost up the middle. You can't allow a QB sneak to go for an untouched TD 3 or 4 times in a game and expect to win...this makes two years in a row that Grundy has laid a turd against Lebanon. Grundy can play a lot better than it did last week, it's just a question of if they will play any better than they did last week....they have a lot of first year players that are starting and it's just going to take some time for those kids to get settled in and play with consistency. It's only week 3, not time to hit the panic button yet.
  13. Braves are attempting the annual September collapse lol....lost 4 straight and the magic number has been stuck on 9 for days. Luckily i don't think they can screw it up this year....October might be another story though.
  14. 45-18 ...Lebanon's QB and RB both looked pretty good to me...Grundy played a little flat last night, but they didn't quit...there were some positive moments. Back to the grind and move on to Hurley next week.
  15. we have no business in Syria...we have very little business in the middle east overall...they hate us, always will...not because we are free and because we have a different lifestyle than they do...but because we are over there and involved in whatever is going on....all the time...we need to stop wasting money all over the world and worry about the USA. If you think back to WW2 we didn't get involved for a LONG time...not until Japan attacked us. In hindsight that could have even been prevented had people done their jobs. I do find it funny now that the world hates Obama...they were all so happy when he was elected, so much global "hope" for the USA to change course from the Bush era...didn't exactly work out like everyone had hoped it would. The direction our country is headed in now, we are in for some dark days ahead. If Obama and the rest of the idiots in DC push this and actually attack Syria, and that is exactly what they would be doing, then we are screwed...if you don't think Russia knows 91% of the USA doesn't support action against Syria, and think Putin won't use that against us? Prime chance like no other in history, including the Vietnam War, to divide the USA between the people and the morons that represent us in DC. That won't end well for us.
  16. well thats one thing Grundy seems to have this year...they wore Twin Valley down...end of the game they were still going strong.
  17. they beat Grundy like a drum last year.
  18. The Arabs are the oil people, they would like nothing more than to have the Syrian gov wiped off the planet. That's a pimple on the ass of the middle east as far as they have been concerned for years.
  19. I think this one is close and I think Union could upset the mighty Blues....BUT, I don't see Mance getting out coached...so I'll say Richlands -2
  20. What's up with Lebanon this year? Grundy is still trying to come together, they are not "there" yet by a long shot...but, they are getting a little better each week.
