The only ones hyping Richlands are the Richlands fans.And everyone is buying into it.They are not better than last year.The SWD is wide open, no matter what anyone says. Richlands lost a whole lot of talent, enough to make a difference. If Jennings and the new quarterback were so good they would have started last year. Grundy,Tazewell, and Graham have a good shot of winning the district as well. Plus those may be the 4 playoff teams from division 3. Whoever wins the district may not win the region if that is the case.But I know this, the only thing Richlands will be dominating this year will be the pre-season headlines.And that is fine, they are SWD champs for now.

Really who cares about football at this point. No one on this side of the state line cares right now. The football will take care of itself when the time is right.

Yes, kind of....Graham did have a lot more coming back last year than Bluefield does this year. And yes I thought we would still be good last year,but not as good as the year before. After watching the first game last year I knew it would be a long season. Graham will suprise many this year because everyone thinks that we aren't going to do crap because of last year. Do you realize that at one point or another last year we started 14 freshman or sophomores. That hasn't happened in 15 or so years. And it ended in a 25-2 record over two years with a state title. Graham will be back strong this year, count on it.

Bluefield is the only school who can lose basically lose every starter and still be better than the year before. Come on guys, this is a rebuilding year at Beaver no doubt about it. I can see Graham beating them, as well as Princeton,Grundy,maybe even James Monroe. You had a great team last year, no doubt, but that was last year. Things change, and you guys lost a lot. Maybe I am wrong here, but I don't think so.

First off, I was wrong about the age limit, so what. Secondly, a member of the Tazewell coaching staff told me about the holdbacks. That is right, one of your coaches. I know a little more than you give me credit for...............It's unethical, but if that is the only way you can win, whatever.God help you guys if Graham ever starts doing that.

Hey, thanks for that information. You will be 19 in December, that means you are now ineligible to play football this year. I am almost positive that the rule is that if you turn 19 before January 1st of your senior year then you are ineligible for that school year. I'll bet you are regretting it now.........

Considering it came from the coaching staff, and the context it was meant in, I would say they were bragging.

From the films it sure looked like you had your best games against Ahmad and graham. What you held him to 200 total yards when you were in the game? Face it, he destroyed you and your friends every time he played you. The stats prove that.

Since you have been running your mouth about Ahmad so long I thought I would chart Bradshaw games vs Grundy the last 3 years he played them. You know what I found out? Whatever happened, I think all of us are glad it's over so we can get back to winning. And make no mistake about this, last year was a one time thing. You SWD guys will find that out real soon.

An all time low? My god we had one down year. And a losing record would have been prevented if we would have started the best players, namely at QB. I remember us Graham fans being pretty full of ourselves a couple of years ago when we beat you guys for a couple of years. Seems the shoe is on the other foot now. What you have at Graham high school is a bunch of guys pissed and embarassed at what happened last year. They will not allow that to happen again. And face the facts here, you guys basically lost every player of major importance from last year, while Graham lost a few it was nobody that anyone will miss except for maybe Elwsick or Henderson. I think it is about equal footing in talent, it's just a matter of who wants it more. I guess we will find that out in August............

You should have. He lit your secondary up last year. Two TD passes, and a third called back on a penalty I believe. Quarterback will not be a problem for Graham this year. The other QB gave the beavers probably 14 points himself last year. We would have been better off if he was wearing a blue jersey.

Here is another stat, 1976,1981,1989,1990,1991,1993,1994,1997,1999,2001,2002,2003.Those are the years that Graham won the SWD under Carlock. That is called tradition. That is why we won't be down for long. The last time we lost all of our district games was 1988 I believe. What happened in 89? No one in the district scored a point on us that is what. You guys had your year and Graham has been humbled, but it is over and things return to how they were. That is Graham on top looking down on everyone else. And it's coming for the next 3 years anyway so get used to it.

Justin will be a senior lineman this coming year, and he is Ahmad's first cousin. Their dad's are brothers.
