With that being said would Richlands fan be upset "IF" he did leave to go to the next level.This is what happens when a coach is very successful.Look at what happened to Beamer,Rich Rod when they started to turn things around for theie football programs but decided to stay.

All of the ponder kids are good kids,Ansels youngest brother comes to my house to play with my eleven year.He is very respectful and a very quiet kid.I went to school with their mother and also work with her and she would expect nothing less from her young men.

ESPN news just announced that Huggy Bear accepted WVU job!!

The problem with having a player that is 6'3" to 6'6"at a small high school is that he will be used as a center or power foward because he is probably the tallest or biggest guy on the team which hurts his ability to work on ball handling and other guard skills.

Bluefield must stay focused on Summers Co. first and foremost and not worry about what W.E.players are saying or doing.Personally I believe this is just a ploy by W.E. players hoping that Bluefield will lose focus on the upcoming game with Summers Co. and lose and then W.E. will not have to play Bluefield.Who is scared of Who?

There are three players that I know of that have dunked in more than one game this year for Bluefield.They are Dexter Moore, Shawn Brooks, and Ansel Ponder.I believe Ponder leads the team in dunks this year with Brooks a close second.From what I have been told Ponder throws down some nasty dunks.

Agree with you City about VT,but WVU is a young team that has a hard time winning on the road so it would be a very interesting match up to say the least.

G-man,thanks for the vote of confidence but I don't think Bluefield could beat Huntington this year.LOL.But I do see where you are coming from though.

Some of the Logan faithful on TSP stated that Bluefields fullcourt press caused Logan some problems and that Bluefield was getting points off the press and then Coach Gillard call off the press for much of the second half.Typical!
