Does anyone know where the James Monroe v/s Oak Hill basketball game is being played this Wednesday ??? I'd like to attend this game and would like to know where i need to go ... Thanks everyone...

Shady dominated this scrimmage ripping off plays of 8-10 yards on about every play. The tigers are very big and have a ton of depth this year and return atleast 8 starters on both sides of the ball so im hoping for a winning season of some sort. As for Westside it looks as they are young and lost alot from last year and might struggle some this year but good luck to both teams.

As for Shady fellas no way they are a top 5 team. They will however be much improved over last year they return about 9 starters on both sides of the ball and the line should be huge. So look for about a 6-4 is my guess.

hey i didnt play im just a fan so im not gona get into the that i just think the crew couldv done a better job in general. Did shady get more breaks yes but was it home cookin no. But never the less it was a great game to watch it just sucks anyone lost.

I dont know what to say guys there were several questionable calls on both sides the umps werent even from our conference so if its home cookin so be it, but never the less a tough game for any 1 to lose every kid left it on the field and thats all any of us can ask just from a fan aspect. But great year for the beavers!!

Yes Good luck to both teams as the beavers try and make a long awaited trip to the states and for the tigers they are shooting for a 3rd straight trip to the states should be a great game. As both teams truley have overachieved this playoff season good luck to both. GO TIGERS!!

The mavs had their way with the young tigers as robertson had several 10 plus yard gains and scored a few td's. But on the bright side shady moved the ball most of the night and James Monroe's defense showed some weakness but look for the mavs to make the AA playoffs as usual but fall as soon as someone stops their rushing attack. As for the tigers it's gona be a long season with the tigers possibly winning 2 games but the next couple years look good as the young tigers showed lots of promise tonight.

James Monroe will beat shady by 40+ the tigers only start 2 seniors on either side of the ball, it will be a long night for the tigers, but thats ok ill still be there cheering them on good luck to both teams

Footballfreak i have no idea who you are but if you've been involved as long as i have you've got to know were just not gonna be good this year. And that's ok because you know as well as i do the next couple of years we will be pretty good. But i still cant figure out who you are but im sure we'd know each other. But im still sticking with 56-0 James Monroe but such is life.

im not trying to make anyone mad footballfreak ive been following the tigers since the early 90's so ive, seen many good years and many bad. And as bad as i hate to say it with the seniors lost from last year and the teams we play the rest of the way it wouldn't suprise me if we only win 2 or 3 games. So if this upsets you im sorry but ive been a shady fan before you were around and i will be when your long gone so as far as this year sorry man were gonna be bad but ill still be at every game cheering the tigers on so take this how you want.

Look for robertson and jackson to hit 100 yards each again this week against the shady tigers. The tigers only start 2 seniors on either side of the ball, my guess is the mavs 56-0 it will be a fun game to watch for the mavs fans but so be it the tigers will be good the next couple of years. the offensive lookes alot better than years past still needs some work but all in all pretty good considering the last few years as for the defense they showed some promise if they can shor up the middle and dont allow the big play they will do well

Indy also looked decent at Midland Trail saturday against Fayetteville and Gilmer County the best ive seen them at the grid a rama in the last 3 years.

Shady will be average at best a record of 5-5 would be outstanding for this years team. The tigers only have 3 seniors and only 2 of them start, so that adds up to 9 underclassmen starting on both sides of the ball this year. So it doesnt look promising this year but the next couple should be pretty good because all the underclassman 11th, 10th and 9th enjoyed great success in pee wee and junior high. But we will see, in my opion 5-5 would be awesome 3-7 is more realistic.

Reeves is not out this year said he wanted to worry about baseball, newman is still very good maybe a little bigger, the line is pretty much gone what line they do have is very young and no experience should be a intresting year for the raiders if they have to passing game everyone will just key on newman, hoped this helped.

Shady is gona be very average at best they were not able to move the ball on a constant basis, have no passing game and the line didnt hold blocks at all. On the defensive side played pretty well against the run but was burned on just about every pass play . But should be solid for the next couple years because the tigers are starting 9 underclassmen on both sides or the ball so hopefully with experience will come more wins. As for westside i was impressed with the qb he showed lots of leadership and threw the ball very well also the wr's caught everything within 2 yards of them so with the weak teams they play they should have no problem making the playoffs . Also spoke with coach Alexander for the liberty raiders about their scrimmage with Mt. View and he said a total different team from a year ago he said they actually looked and played like a team, with athletes in every postion as usual, he said they did anything and everything they wanted against the raiders and in his opion a top 5 team in AA this year. I believe talent wise he is right but as usual we'll have to wait and see about them keeping it together as a team.

The tiger football team has 53 kids in 2 a days this week a record number to my knowledge since following the program since the early 90's. They also are finally getting new lighting which is long overdue. With the new coach new hope has come the offense and defensive will be changed quite a bit im excited about the new changes but believe our talent level will just be fair over the next couple years, however the 9th grade class looks very promising they are very comparable to last years senior class when they were in 9th. This year should produce about a .500 team our line will be pretty big but our skill players and defense will lack big play ability. But good luck to all teams on the upcoming season just 3 weeks to kick off. The wait is almost over!!!!

Shady Spring coach Dave Shaw was named the state baseball coach of the year, after leading the tigers to back to back state tourney berths after only a 4 win season 3 years ago this is a huge award for coach Shaw and the tiger baseball program. Congrats!!!

Congrats on the win this game was fun to watch, it was a very well played game and couldve went either way, but the better team won tonight good luck against logan!!

The tigers won their 2nd title in 3 years! They lost their first game today 3-1 to Herbert Hoover but rebounded in the 2nd game and won 5-2 to over Hoover to claim the title. Way to go ladies!!! As they finish with a 32-4 record!!

We lost 1 starter we return everyone else, so it should be a good game. Good luck to you guys as well and you will see me there!!
