  1. First I want to say congratulations to the players, coaches, families, & fans. I hope you all have a blast this week leading up to the game. I don't know if you are familiar with the Wheeling area but it is hard to find a room in Wheeling. I don't even try anymore. St. Clairsville Ohio has everything you need, nice motels, a mall, good shopping, and more restaurants. It is only 8 miles away and the drive is all interstate.
  2. Not very often rivals end up in the title game. Dang this will be fun!
  3. I agree!! Good luck to the Mavs tonight!
  4. Wayne 28 Tyler 7 in the 4th
  5. Dang, big win tonight!! Congrats to Richlands on a big win. Good luck next week.
  6. Talk, talk, & more talk. Here is the only stat that matters: Oct. 1, 2005 VT 34 WVU 17 in Morgantown. OUCH.... Until they play again, VT has bragging rights.
  7. How was the soccer season Beano?

  9. Some kids at that level act like spoiled brats when they lose. He was calm, cool, & collected, "yes sir", "no sir", "thank you sir." I was even in my Beaver hat. I am a huge VT fan so it will be great watching him at the next level.
  10. I talked to Fuller after the game, the kid has class.
  11. Glennon has much better numbers, I'm glad someone else has done their homework on this!!!
  12. I am impressed how the Richlands crowd gets into the game!! You guys know how to do it, get LOUD when the other team has the ball, especially on 3rd down.
  13. I'm hearing conflicting times, is it 7:00 or 7:30 kickoff tonight...
  14. ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works". Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of seasonal hurricane forecasts, told a packed lecture hall at the University of North Carolina that humans were not responsible for the warming of the earth. His comments came on the same day that the Nobel committee honoured Mr Gore for his work in support of the link between humans and global warming. "We're brainwashing our children," said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado State University. "They're going to the Gore movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It's ridiculous." At his first appearance since the award was announced in Oslo, Mr Gore said: "We have to quickly find a way to change the world's consciousness about exactly what we're facing." Mr Gore shared the Nobel prize with the United Nations climate panel for their work in helping to galvanise international action against global warming. But Dr Gray, whose annual forecasts of the number of tropical storms and hurricanes are widely publicised, said a natural cycle of ocean water temperatures - related to the amount of salt in ocean water - was responsible for the global warming that he acknowledges has taken place. However, he said, that same cycle meant a period of cooling would begin soon and last for several years. "We'll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was," Dr Gray said. During his speech to a crowd of about 300 that included meteorology students and a host of professional meteorologists, Dr Gray also said those who had linked global warming to the increased number of hurricanes in recent years were in error. He cited statistics showing there were 101 hurricanes from 1900 to 1949, in a period of cooler global temperatures, compared to 83 from 1957 to 2006 when the earth warmed. "The human impact on the atmosphere is simply too small to have a major effect on global temperatures," Dr Gray said. He said his beliefs had made him an outsider in popular science. "It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong," he said. "But they also know that they'd never get any grants if they spoke out. I don't care about grants."
  15. Look, just ignore him. He must have been ignored as a child and he is trying to get attention. Lets not let one guy ruin this week for anyone. This is going to be a good game and that is what we should be looking forward to, not this guy.
  16. Taunting a guy that is on the field lying motionless = no class.
  17. Thanks. Congrats on a hard fought win!
  18. Is Abingdon loaded or just a bad night for Richlands?
  19. You captured my favorite play from the other night, everyone go watch Brooks long run with Will leading the way. Will had 2 huge blocks and he leveled one guy late in the play. The kid has heart.
  20. Will Albin's name was mentioned a couple times today vs WVU.
  21. Bud has to be going crazy, this D is horrible. I have always stood behind Glennon but with a line that horrible you need someone that can scramble.
