I didn't say teams were afraid of us just that they won't schedule us for some reason. This is just high school football no one is afraid to play anyone it's not life or death it's just football. But tell me why Shady Springs doesn't want to play us but they will go all the way to keyser to play.

Guys we're lucky just to have 10 games. Who are we suppose to play? I mean Shady Springs won't play us but they will go all the way to Keyser to play them but not us.How dumb is that? Liberty,Westside and Independence in this area won'y play us and the only other option is to travel 3 to 4 hours for a game. You have to factor the money situation into that and JM doesn't exactly have money flowing in from everywhere!

On a outstanding season! I thought if we won 5 or 6 games this year it would be a good season. No one saw this coming at the beginning of the season. Thats a credit to the coaches and players who just got better every week. I know losing Taylor and Nick will hurt us next year but with most of the team back next year I think things look pretty good! Way to make us proud again guys. Work hard in the weightroom and come back stronger next year.

Our JV had a good year and our middle school at Peterstown has struggled the last couple of years but our other middle school at Union has done really well. Both Peterstown and Union pee wee and midget teams have been doing really well so the future doesn't look that bad. We may have a down year every now and then but I don't think it will be long term.In the past most of the talent has come from the Peterstown side but I think it's starting to come from the Union side a little bit. Which is fine with me. Usually when both sides come together at JM things seem to come together so I think our future will be just fine!

I think it's more the fact that we lost our entire o-line. Our line this year is young and inexperienced and about 50 to 60 pounds lighter per man then last year. That is alot to overcome in a short period of time.I must say that the defense has done a pretty solid job up to this point. Hopefully we continue to see some improvement as the season goes on.Our JV is having success with wins over bluefield and princeton to this point. Maybe in the next year or so we can be a serious threat again. The main thing is just go out and do the best we can and finish strong. Regardless what happens i'ii will be there cheering them on! From what I understand they are suppose to play against Scott. I also would still pick Scott. Our line is really struggling.

Wyoming east has thrown 3 int's in the first half.

It has nothing to do with what type of offense we are now running. It's the fact that we lost our entire o-line to graduation. It doesn't matter what offense we run this year. The bottom line is we just have a young team that will develop over time. If we were still running the single wing we would still struggle this year because you have to have a big o-line to be successful with it and we are just not that big this year. I like the new offense. The kids just need more time with it.

I'm excited to see how we do against Wayne but I think our inexperience on the o-line is really going to hurt in this game. I hope I'm wrong but I'm thinking Wayne-38 JM-14. If we do lose I hope it's closer then that .I know I will feel alot better about the season. On aside note I've been hearing great things about our JV. We might take our lumps this year but we could be very strong the next couple of years. Regardless of what happens I can't wait till friday night!

We will be down from last year,but I don't believe a whole lot. You don't lose your entire offensive line that had started for three years and pick up where you left off. As the season goes on I think we will be alright and be a playoff team.We might not make it to Wheeling but we won't be an easy win for anyone.I remember last year after our scrimmages people were telling me it was going to be a long year and we made it to Wheeling.So you just never know how it's going to play out. We had 63 kids out so the future looks pretty good. Win or lose football is back and thats all that matters.Looking forward to the Wayne game. I know we will have our hands full that night!

I feel like it will be Ballengee's job to lose. I have a feeling they could put Robertson in some shotgun formations like they did Ben Thornton and give him the option of run or pass.
