Deserved it and we had a good run at it back and forth.... Teams started focusing on me and ball just didnt come my way. The Piedmont is on a totally different level with the selection of students they have. We are back here in the woodworks and we have a slim pickin, but we rarely see real athletes. On the other hand has anyone else got POTW twice?

Do the dogs have a chance to take it passed the Tunstall Trojans to go to the next level. Its at Tazewell but their a great team, they have to travel over 3 hrs but their a great team, maybe if we play slow ball we can win it, but their a great team. See what happens but as of now I believe we can win unless the buzzer sounds and we are behind until then T-town riding high. Only way to go being an underdog is up, so let's go.

I say either Carrol or Grundy.... both have a big man coming back.....

I have all the faith that Taz can pull an upset.... If we get through them then we have Abingdon also that will be a pretty tough route to take. Grundy has a bye then meets one of the best teams in VA in Martinsville.

So GMan, Tazewell gets to host Piedmont Runner-Up and is that likely Tunstall? Any word.....

Well glad to see Grundy win but it didnt matter to me who won between Carrol and Grundy now that we got to play at home anyways. Not that big of a game since both are in Regions, but dont get me wrong I want to win the game. SWD Tourney Title on the line and we want to at least get some hardware out of this.

What about the trip over there... Is the times still set at 6 and 7:30? Heard about road closings and stuff just wondered what was going to happen with the scheduling and routes taken. Any info???

Well just glad that CC didnt win and we dont have to go to CC or we may not have had a chance. lol Well last year Grundy and Tazewell was fighting to get into the tourney and now we are fighting for 1st. Well not the game I thought it would be. Figured R-lands had something to play for in pride. They started out bad our we either started good. I think that crowd support is good for the team, but Im starting to think that the Rife Raiders are hurting Rlands chances of winning. The refs tookit personal with all the gestures directed towards them and stop the game for a sec. and just may have hurt the blues all year just a thought that came to mind after tonight.

This last week is one monster for those teams here in the SWD. Its crunch time and for those who want to step up here is there chance to take it to the limit. CC plays Graham @CC and then rivals Tazewell @R-lands hook up Tuesday. Grundy @ CC Wednesday. Then Tazewell @ Graham Friday. What your thoughts on these matchups???Post em ----Lets Play----

So now Carrol has 3 losses correct... so this puts Carrol almost at the bottom unless they pull out a victory against Grundy. This would leave it up for Graham or Tazewell to win out to for at best a 1st place tie. When is the Graham-Richlands gm rescheduled to that was postponed Jan 29? Also when is the grundy-carrol gm?

We finally put together a great team effort and came away with a approx. 17 point win @ Tazewell. Thompson had 24pts Reed had 19 Hayes around 18. Have 2 gms left Richlands and Graham both away though will be hard to win out.
