Another thing we desperatly need to do is find some loop hole to allow liquor by the drink in Claypool Hill, I know several towns in the county allow that and Charlies avoids the regulation by being in an industrial zone. Even if that means one of the two towns annexing it we need to do it. Think about it all other Walmarts bring in other businesses around them, Applebees at Lebanon and Bluefield, Chillis and about a hundred other at Bristol. All ours has around it is car lots and banks. Liquor by the drink has long been the holding point in Applebees coming to Claypool Hill.

Taz's high school softball field is right between the high school and football field

I think I heard the radio say that Taz-Grundy will start at 4 and Richlands-CC will start at 6

Yeah I saw it, Taz plays Grundy and Richlands plays Carroll on Tuesday, then the championship is on Wed.

I was thinking there was another year not that long ago when there werent any finalists. I dont know how long it has been since they were out of the top 10 in state, never may be a good answer. Anybody have any guesses about Coaching?

Something is bad wrong with the system right now wrestlers aren't performing at the big dance the way they have in the past and they are losing at the end of the season to people they beat during the season. Another problem seems to be the all or nothing attitude at the state tourny seems like people wrestle a great match and lose close then the next round they get pinned and are done very few of them are fighting through wrestle backs like they used to. Do they still do the little league program all the way up it doesn't seem like the little leaguers are wrestling as much as they once did.

I think before the Tazewell County schools dropped there would be consolidation. Richlands and Tazewell would become one high school located somewhere around Cliffield with the kids from Springville that now go to Tazewell going to Graham and all of Pocy going to graham making two high school taz co. east and taz. county west

There was someone from Richlands he may have been the guy in 92 I dont remember I just remember he had a mighty mouse tattoo his name may have been Brad something. Memory fails me from 15 years ago

I know after hearing Falwell say that his school should be competitive at football I was expecting much more out of the place. You could see nothing from the bleachers because they were so level. The sun was horrible all day long the stadium must have been built for only night games. Another thing if they want to host a game of that magnitude they need to put in a visitors dressing room that doesn't require walking up a muddy bank and around to the other side of campus to get to it. Mitchell is much better.

Yeah I agree, McCrackan at QB, Jennings, Henry, Mcdaniel at RB, Stanton and Grundy's WR, Arms and another of Richlands linemen, Bov and Burton, not sure about the last lineman. On the Defensive side, Richlands should have several, Simmons, Pee Wee, Arms, Harrison, Gayheart, Clayborne(may have the wrong name there I am talking about the Middle linebacker), possibly mcdaniel, Carper from Graham, and probably at least one or two from CC. Jennings as the Return man, C.J. Arms as the punter, Ayers as kicker. Offensive player of the year McCrackan no idea on Defensive player of the year can they just give it to an entire team

In all fairness you did use the word Bassett in the 6th post in this thread when comparing our schedule in going undefeated to theirs with one loss. But I really just wanted to get my prediction in. My prediction: Richlands 26-LB 20

Coaches vote at all other sports I assume they do in football too. I know the 1st team will probably be dominated by Richlands anyone else have any predictions about who will be on it. Running back is going to be very deep with 3 1000 yard rushers plus Yates and Marcum (I apoligize if I am wrong but I don't think either of them got to 1000).
