Ive played against joel in baseball since we were little kids, watched him play football the whole time. He's a great ballplayer. Congratulations on getting to play 4 more years, or maybe more. Thats what its all about, getting a education and doing something you love. It doesn't matter if he went to southwest (if they had a football team) to play, as long as he's still getting to PLAY. Im from tazewell and i have 0 problems with congratulating him and wishing him luck, just as i hope everybody from around here would do for someone from Tazewell. I hope nothing but good things for him and anyone else from around here thats bettering themselves, as athletes and scholars.

Brandon Pauley...for sure..purest shooter ive ever played with or seen around here.

I mean, its not like it bothered me or anything because I think i play better with people hounding me, but im pretty sure some of the comments made toward me or brandon pauley tuesday were kinda innapropriate. I know its all fun and games, and it made me laugh, but people in the crowd took offense to the way they attack players. I understand the mafia is there to create a raw atmosphere, which they do, but some people dont understand what they are all about.

They way ive been told, even though i cant explain it, if grundy and richlands lose tonight then tazewell is in. The rest is some complicated bs in my opinion. Leaves teams waiting to see if they'll play another day.

As cool as u guys think yall are with those CLEVER chants, did u notice i didnt really miss a shot when yall started that? Maybe you should try chanting at people that it actually phases. Reading this board gave me a headache, all this fighting for what reason?

Thanks, but this win goes to our team. We're finally starting to play together. I was struggling from the field, but my team picked up the slack. Brandon Pauley had 27 to my 16, and everyone else on the team contributed greatly

In fact, I recall a definitive display of "student behavior" at Tazewell one year in which a certain Bulldog cager offered us the one-fingered salute during a free throw. I can definately believe that, cant say thought i havent thought about the same thing the past couple years haha

If your on a varsity team you should be smart enough to not listen. Im pretty sure ive got it worse than some from "McGhee's Mafia" or whatever and i must say i do listen, but just because it gives me a good laugh haha.

Yea it was biased. I played in the game, I know. The whole game i got pulled down by my jersey when i tried to jump, elbows in the ribs, chest all this nonsense. How many fouls did Hurley have called on them for it? 0. But me, I fouled out in the 3rd quarter. Figure that? But whatever there's no excuses to be made about, we just gotta play better. We are a way better team than we've been showing, and I know sooner or later we're gonna start proving it.
