Va Tech fans would make a lot bigger deal if Tech won the ACC Title and made a bcs game in football over them winning a national title in something like Soccer or Lacrosse, you can say there no way to prove that but you know its true. ESPN is going to talk a whole lot more about Va Tech if they win the ACC in football rather than winning the national title in Lacrosse or Track+Field or something like that, theres reasons why.... And a hell of a lot of people talking about Va tech catching NC in track+field if they did? I mean there would be Hokie sports fan that knew they did it..but actually caring about it? Not too many. To answer your question about Florida...when I was little I use to watch Florida on tv when Steve Spurrier coached and I loved watching them...I would watch them every Saturday and just became a fan, stuck with them every since...even threw the Ron Zook era.

What I really don't like about UVA fans in general is whenever people are talking about football and a Va Tech fan makes a little crack about UVA, the UVA fan usually responds with something like that...nothing to do with football, because UVA has not won a national title in football either. The ACC has had a Conference Championship game for 6 years now, Va tech has played in 4 of them and has won 3 of them....UVA has not even played in a ACC Conference Championship game. Also since Va Tech has joined the ACC they are 7-0 aganist UVA. I'm not even a big Va Tech fan, UVA hater...I like Va Tech and I root for UVA unless there playing Va Tech...my main favorite college football team though is actually Florida...I just think its such a dumb argument when a UVA fan talks to a Va Tech fan about how they have won national tiltes in Lacrosse and Soccer...because they majority of Va Tech fans, including myself just really don't care.

From my point of view it seems that everybody hyped up Hurley just too much, as they do a lot of years. Everybody made out Hurley offense to be just to much to handle with Berglow, Waynick, and Cooper....well that was certainly not the case. Hurley didn't even score one offensive TD all night. People forget last year at Grundy, Berglow had a very experienced o-line blocking for him...you have to good blocking to have a chance to be a explosive running back which showed tonight. Grundys linebackers and d-line was stopping the run and putting pressure on Cooper every time they tried a pass...that and there ability to successfully run the ball for majority of the night led to a Golden Wave victory.

I just heard that Sean V., Jeremy H., Cody R., and Tyler M. is all in the finals tonight for Grundy. Unfortunately I heard C-burg has 8 in the finals tonight so it seems that it is going to be C-burg 1st and Grundy 2nd in the team standings with everybody fighting for the rest. Justin Street and Epperly had a really close match in the semis and they said they gave like 2 points to Epperly after the 3rd period was over to give him the win or something like that. Hopefully Grundy can get a few state champs tonight though in there last AA state tournament.

Smith hurt his ankle I think in Regions and couldn't go this weekend.

I can remember 3 or 4 years ago Richlands, Grundy, and Abingdon had really good student sections, always screaming and chanting. I haven't been to Abingdon in awhile but Richlands and Grundy crowd has died down over the years.

You should enjoy Carrol Co. beating Grundy, since your team couldn't stay with in 35 pts of them.

Grundy's passing game has vanished since Kelly got hurt. Last week when Grundy played Abingdon Berglow was our offense getting the ball 28 or 29 times and running for over 200 yards. He didn't get that tonight, Carrol Co. defense did a good job wraping up and seemed like the D-line was beating up Grundy's O-line a lot tonight. If you think about it though the score should been 14-10 Carrol. In the 2nd quarter Grundy had the ball 4th and 7 on the 30 yd line (close to scoring) they run a HB toss pass, Berglow threw the ball right on the money to Justus and him and Oakwind run into each other trying to catch the ball and neither comes up with it. That should been 7pts. Also Grundy had the ball 4th and 5 on about the 23 (close to scoring) and went for it and didn't get it, if we kicked a fg I think we would made it. And Grundy just gave Carrol Co. 7 pts when Grundy had the ball backed up to about there 15 yd line and they fumbled and Carrol took it back to the house. The game was closer then what the scoreboard said, but either way Carrol deserved to win. Grundy goes to Tazewell next week where they should pull out the W. Carrol goes to Richlands, I think Carrol will give them a good game because of there D but from what I saw tonight there just one dimensional on offense with the run game that only scored 2 tds aganist Grundy so I have a feeling there won't be a lot of offense going for Carrol next week.

Haha yeah let another team get the job done because yours couldn't. I always root for Hurley when they don't play Grundy and still will, I just thought it was funny when everybody posting there prediction score which was mainly the Hurley fans saying Grundy by 1 td or Hurley by 1 td and I posted Grundy by 3+ tds. Everybody quoted me saying I was dumb and "underestimating" Hurley. Plus a lot of the Hurley players talked trash to the Grundy players online and etc going into that game.
