The new man is coach Strong. he is from Ohio but has family who lives in Washington Co. I am suprised they hired him because of that. Maybe a new school board member can get that crew lined out at the SBO.

I saw a carney using Hugh Cookes car wash taking a bath one time. That was a hoot one carney would use the wand while the other one would take a bath. It helps cooke keep the car wash going.

He went to UVA Wise and could not make the grades.

I think thet guy needs a hair cut really bad. or he needs to stop being the voice of the baseball team and go back to playing that moose.

Nerves, you have played close to 20 games there should not be any nerves a this point in the season. I feel the coach is just making excuses. At this time you better have your team ready or you will be going home for the year. NO nerves in T -town or GC or even VA High.

Who is left to help the new guy? I heard 2 other coaches were going to leave and go to a winning program at PHHS.

No Bobby Jones Was the head coach Jr. was his helper. Now they are called the Cowboys E&H product Anthony Cox is the head and Dink Casey is his helper. Dink was the head coach of the B.V. Tigers back when they were winning championships.

That is why VA & Taz are going to be the top 2 teams in the region they keep playing strong compatition. Playing great makes you better.

Fatback, I think you have hit the nail on the head. The one guy people says looks like Ringo and was a war ball whiz at RMS for years. The other one was at RMS for years in the history Dept. then moved tothe RHS history Dept. He is on the road now taking the Leb shuffel all over SWVA. And back to Bloody Harlen Co KY. I just hope the powers to be at RHS at least gives these two guys a chance. The former is a big KY fan and he knows the ole KY 1-3-1 give and go , and what the other one knows has gone and went.

I say ask Vaught , Hooker or even the old coach because he did not get a principal's job. Or what abiout the QB from last year POP PAW he called plays last year. But really who has expressed interest in coaching FB at Abingdon? How about JSB did they get a new coach yet? Who has applied?

No need to worry about our coaches they work as a team and by the way we have more than one coach. We as well as just about all the teams that played Abingdon put a horse kicking on you all. Or should I say you guys. And I hve a ? for you Mr. Falcon why do you move around so much? It is a shame you could not have stayed at LEB or Richlands. I guess you wanted to get a major college full ride by moving to AHS.

You better be worried about who is going to Asst. your new guy in football , or is he a Superman and can do it all by himself? Who is there at AHS that wants to help? Like I said before ROCK BOTTOM in All sports.

No not them two. I think one is named charmon and the other is named harbie. Both of them have alot of expirence coaching ( From the stands) Lets get them on the bench and LETS TURN THIS BB Program around at RHS. Oh by the way cents the gym is named for Ms. Milliey Acre and cents Mr . Rife is not going to coach Lets name the floor after him or get somebody to mop the floor at RMS. Someone needs to ask the Taz CO SB to help do that.

I think them to boys are kin. But I feel the right man for the job at RHS would be that PE teacher who just retired from RMS and his Asst. could be the guy who used to teach history at RMS & RHS he is retired too. They both have time for coaching now. And at one time I think they were on the inside of the RHS BB program. What do unzes think of that?

I think you have to run fast to be successful in football as well as track also you have to be sttong and have endurance. Also you have to have some guts as wellin both sports. As for your principals where did Marion come into play, the guy is form the powerhouse of the LPD Coeburn. Oh and by the way the big ? is who is going to coach for this new coach? Vaught and Hooker is looking better all the time. And another ? whois going to be the new Baseball coach and girls Basketball coach. Like I said ROCK BOTTOM

You better have a black jack and a bull whip. Because it is going to hit rock bottom in A town. All the the good coaches are leaving are have left. No one wants to coach for the new guy. Also there is no work ethic in A town. And when you can't beat holston in boys track it is going to be a long year in sports for the Falcons. Maybe that new principal can bring his winning ways from Coeburn H. S. Or maybe that new Asst. principal can his winning ways from JSB.

Where have you been Mr. Cumbow Quit coaching girls track, Mr Martin left and went to E&H Boys track& golf, The girls Basketball coach hung it up. And in the BHC sports the other day the baseball coach is leaving. Oh and by the way the boys track got beat by Holston again. So look out it is heading to the bottom in A-Town, better call a meeting of all those Dr's & Lawyers and take up a collectionto help out.
