I said in an earlier post that I would root for Grundy this year in every game but one. It's pretty sweet to see that they are back on their toes. I'm sensing a switch in top swd teams soon and I have a feeling Grundy will be back up there in the mix.

I realize and understand they got beat. The wheels fell off in the third. I was'nt tryin to take anything away from cc's team. But the officals were really some of the worst I've ever seen, regardless of what district they were assigned to. Cc had some fast kids and the fullback was a beast.

We know G man loves it whenever something bad happens to tazewell, but it was actually a combination of the two (yeah it's possible G man). Cc's got a good team, no doubt about that. Anybody have the penalty yards at hand?

I have no doubt that cc would have won, tazewells recievers were dropping balls all night with the exception of Josh mitchem. Bad play calling as usual. But really, who else in the district has to travel to hillsville?

Really, I just started laughing about it in the third quarter. Worst called game I have honestly ever seen. I brought a neutral observer just to see a different opinion, and it was unanimous that it was the most ridiculously called game of all time. Tazewell did shoot themselves in the foot but in no way was that evenly called. The refs didn't even know what they were doing, at all. There, you've started hearing about it. And I'm sure you will be hearing alot more about it.

I would enjoy watchn the Lebanon GC game but i think tazewell might pull it out against the zebras. Haha I really hope it will be a fairly called game in hillsville and I really want to see CC play so I am down for the ride. I'll try to post updates for ya'll.

Garon was a helluva running back. He sure had some wheels on him. If he would have had a line his senior year there would have been big things happening for him. He was the definition of potential, believe that. And I'm not saying he didn't live up to it, but he could have been playing D1. BTW the Al Bundy theme, frickin sweet.

JR Wilson had the best stiffarm I've ever seen in a high school game against Honaker. I believe it was against the Bostic kid. He literally jumped into JR and received the nastiest stiff arm ever. Full arm extension with the Honaker guy in the air, then into the ground. Would have been an amazing picture. Matt Cleaver had one almost exactly like it in the same game. Drew Walker also had an amazing hit on a punt against Gate city in 2005 that was damaging to anybodies ego. He also had one in a scrimmage against Bland eariler that year that was just stupid. Justin McCrackin and Jarrod Riddle hit one time right up the gut in my senior year and they were both brick walls. Both of them fell straight to the ground and got up talking smack haha, it was awesome.

I hope the falcons win and I will root for them until they play tazewell. They've taken so much crap over the past couple of years, I'd like to see em do well this season.

After last years loss I know t town will be fired up. Lebanon had a good team last year and if the dawgs want to be effective this time around they will have to do some work on the running game. Cobb is a talented running back and their defense was stingy. If lockhart can bounce back well(I'm sure he will) it will be a great game to watch. Gotta go with t town in OT 24-21

Oh how quickly you've become sore winners. I'm pretty sure not one person said that one call lost tazewell the game , but it apparently affected the outcome in some way, just like all calls do. This might be news to you but Lance was completely unbais at that game seeing as how he pulls for Grundy. Here's a newsflash, this weeks has already begun so get to talkin about your next game and how you'll get dominated or whatever it was you said, cuz I'm pretty sure the tazewell folk are over the loss. It's your pissed off boisterous 'my kid got 2 assisted tackles in that thar game' attitude that really reveals your lack of modesty, which makes it obvious how arrogent you are. I'm done with this. by this intelligent synopsis I would be led to believe that richlands won that game. 60 to 7 just won't happen. Everybody knows that the richlands tazewell games are usually good ones and I just can't help but to think that coach W is just about tired of being outcoached by coach M.

Wish I coulda been there so I could throw my two cents in but I'm in Myrtle beach. Woo. my boys were keeping me updated though. Sounded like it was becoming a good game there for a while, but it's been said before on here, that atmosphere is just insanity. Good luck GC. And to the dawgs, don't hang your head, pick it up and concentrate on this next game.
