An off-campus bookstore does have a maroon and orange New Era Yankees hat that is a flexfit and not flat-billed. I think it is also around $7 cheaper. They were available about 2 weeks ago when I was there last but after the game yesterday, Im sure it would be hard to find anything Yankees left in this town anymore

no he is talking about all-distict 1st teamers. Tazewell only had 4 and we swept the district and tournament. I dont know about the Highlands district but I know that the SWD Player of the Year pick was the right choice not just because Tazewell won district. TJ led the region in scoring and deserved it. I also believe that Neil deserved the Highlands PoY honor as well. I think he was second in the region to TJ in scoring. But I agree that the All-Region/State team system is flawed, especially for players in this area. I know that we are not the best players, but we are becoming better each and every year. I mean, Graham won the SWD for so many years and then now Tazewell and Carroll have pulled even with them, if not ahead. And Richlands is becoming better. Now with Abingdon and Marion in the SWD, I only see this area improving in the future.

My roommate is interested in selling his. he has the wii, remote, numbchuck, wii sports, and call of duty. he got it and we had it in our dorm at tech and we played it maybe 5 hours this semester. if you are interested i will talk to him on a price

I watched Vic Hall play against Tazewell in the state semis his senior year. His running stole the show but what really impressed me was his arm strength. He reminded me of Michael/Marcus and Tyrod because he might not have the best accuracy with his throws but it was a laser. Im suprised that Coach Beamer didnt gobble him up because he probably wouldve used him at QB. It wouldve been nice to him step in last year over Glennon

Trust me, the people in Tazewell know how that is. The last 2 seasons they went in without knowing who their keepers was going to be and they ended up winning district both years

yeah the same with tazewell. we beat richlands 2-1 at SVCC but when they came back to tazewell for the tourny, we won 9-2. however, i do believe that coach carr is really helping richlands program. i predicted that they would upset a team last year in the swd and they disappointed me (even tho it was my team they almost upset). coach carr lost a lot of talent at striker, center mid, and most importantly keeper but competing against abingdon and marion in district play and tazewell, graham, and carroll will only make this program stronger. i agree that the "original" swd teams are catching up to the new ones but they still have a lot of work to do to become contenders for the district crown

well that style of offense would not work this year with glennon, he fits much better in techs style. he cannot get the job done effectively on his feet like is basically required in the spread. maybe next year with tyrod they could try it but not now

yeah the carroll-tazewell game reminded me a lot of coach wyatts first game at tazewell when they played carroll. it came down to the very last play and ended pretty much the same way

i have heard that tyrod has been redshirted already so look for him in the '08 season

the best swd district game last year was the tazewell-graham regular season game. tazewell blocked the g mens extra point attempt to have the 7-6 lead and as time expired shannon graham blocked the potential game winning field goal to give the dogs the win
