WS plays MV Friday night at Wyo. East football field ina Grid-o-Rama match, rumor is this game is suppose to be like an actual season game w/ 4 qts all at regular qt. time limit i look forward to this game, gives us WS fans a view of what they might be able to do when up against a team of quality in reality i look for WS to lose, however i believe this is a game that WS could win if they play right will be interesting to see what kinda defence Coach Mullins will throw at MV, from watching the news tonight, they talked of how MV returns about 80% of their team, which means experience, and at those experience positions is a QB, a HB, and a 6'3 WR who the news station really put over as i said in reality i look for WS to lose this game WS will be a "alright" schedule this season playing Liberty is always interesting then there will be the likes of Scott and Gilbert who will make things interesting as well as well as maybe one or two other games, but for the rest, i see WS winning and make playoffs, at least i hope anyways...lol

i think both are pretty hot in there own way but for me i find beyonce more cuter than tara that's just me though

for me i never was really big on the name Westside Renegades i really liked the idea of being called the Guyandotte Gators and having the Florida Gator colors for our sports teams, would have been cool and all... would be able to do the "alligator/crockidle" cheer and be able to do the gator chomp (sp?) that the florida fans do i just think it would have been great, but everyone though that Westside Renegades was "better" the name Guyandotte Gators was actually a name we had to choose from, but oh well

[ QUOTE ] You were a cheerleader??...lmao [/ QUOTE ] in all honesty, i've seen a lot of cheerleaders in my time and the two best cheerleaders i've seen was a very tall black boy who was a cheerleader for Keyser back a few yrs a go and then a boy by the name of Michael Cline from Westside (and not its not cause he is from WS either, but i've actually seen him win single competitions and win very easily)

i can answer most of them questions with just two words Best Stadium, Best Stadium/Field for Pregame Activities (Tailgating, etc.) these two in my opinion goes to the Bluefield Beavers....the stadium and pregame events at Bluefield are very, very nice and the food for most part was decent however its my opinion that the best fans/student section come from the Renegade Nation, some might differ with me and that's fine, cause i am bias in that area seeing how i am one...lol as for best band, eh who cares? and the food, well food is food to me whether its good or not depends on how "hungry" i am "cutest" cheerleaders: i've never seen a team that aint had cute or at least decent looking cheerleaders, so yeah

i remember watching on TV not to long again and i stopped on MSNBC and the guy who played Cooter was on there bashing the movie and telling all the true Dukes fans not to go watch it, cause it was a disgrace to the show and no where near close to anything they ever put off... well i just brushed it off thought this guy was just upset cause he wasnt involved with the movie or something, well i went and i watched and i was disgusted 1st you have a thin Burt Reynolds playing Boss Hogg, compaired to the previous Boss Hogg, Burt was no where close to this role 2nd you have JK and that guy from American Pie playing the duke boys, complete opposite of the original Duke boys 3rd you have two no names playing Rosco and Enas (sp?) see the two above and no of the movie made scene, the duke boys in college,having chances to make out with college girls, please the original show never even gave a hint of the boys going to college or anything this movie is just a total disgrace and a total waste of money for anyone that ever enjoyed the original show, the only enjoyment through the whole thing for me was Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke, even though he accent was horrible in this movie but yeah the tiny winy bikini....wow indeed and Willie as uncle Jesse was sorta funny but still i prefer the original to the remake i give the remake a big flat 0

it's a town loacted not even 5-10mins outside of beckley if you go where the RCA is in beckley and keep driving that way to get on the interstate you have a choice to go towards either Bluefield/Charleston or Lewisburg, go the lewisburg exit and its the first exit on that way beaver is where the regional jail, raleigh co. airport is, where PBS is located as well as the WVVA news channel 6 raleigh co. station is located as well as other "interesting" places

i heard on 99.5 the other day that some sort of wrestling program was coming to beaver with former stars like Buff Bagwell, D'lo Brown among others that was gonna be at the event, they gave a web site that a man could go to....if anyone knows anymore about this and could help me out, i would greatly appreciate the help!

i'll try to help out as far as for Westside, Wyo. East and Logan if no one else tries to do so with one of the mentioned teams

hey i'm just glad Westside made your teams to watch out for...lol...i seriously think they will have another decent season with another playoff appearance, as for how long they will be in the post season i dunno?....i'm sure they will be there longer than Logan though...lol

[/ QUOTE ] boy i would have to agree with that 1000% i use to hate school with a passion until my 10th grade yr and then things changed, now that i'm out of high school and all, though im still in school it just dont seem right, not as "cool" as it use to be...lol so i say enjoy high school while you're there cause you will find afterwards it is among the best time of your life!

i as well wouldnt mind knowning who's playing who and what have ya, but i dont look for any of that information to released anytime soon it normally aint released until round Nov.

i had a chance to go on a youth mission trip to South America with a Church of God in my area, but cause of other obligations had to decline....they left last week and are suppose to be gone for about 2 weeks down there...i personally cant wait for them to get back to see all the pictures and hear about how the trip went!

i believe this will really add to the rivalry that is between Bluefield/MV, i know Westside/Wyo. East play for the no. 9 Coal Shovel each yr in football....so far Westside has kept it in their possession however it doesnt mean that each yr that game it self isnt a tough game, both teams are always up and ready for the game and a week long prepairs take place for this game.... happy for ya'll!!!!

i appreciate all the kind words everyone and BR i thought of you on the night i got the news, i thought in one place there was a joyful event taking place, while another place was mourning the lost of a life amazing how two things can happen in two different lives that i know anyways hope ya had a good honeymoon man!

hey now Rocks you being a spoiled sport now dont hate Westside, hate your coach for not doing a better of a job...lol either way bluefield is the closest team to me outside of Wyo. East and i just refuse to ever root for them in anything, no matter if Westside is put out by them or not, just aint happening....lots of folks in my area are like why root for bluefiled, why not logan? and my response is i have more i-net friends from bluefield than logan...lol and it still dont change things Rock, i'll be rooting for ya'll if Westside doesnt make it, but if they do and we cross paths again, you can better bet i'll be rooting for the 'Gades

i dont think the question should be how you guys will do, but if Gilliard (sp?) will be able to do anything with the talent he's got i mean sorry beaver faithful but i believe the most of you would agree had it been Gaither that there with the beavs in charleston in the semi-final game against Westside, that it would have been closer, if not with a different ending Bluefield had just as much talent last yr and really worried me, when thinking would have to face them in the semis....i really was worried of what happened to Westside against Winfield the previous yr happen to them against you guys but then something happened that i'd never seen and that is a team shoot 3s after 3s after 3s, i mean it just didnt look like a bluefield team last yr that being said, if Gilliard gets his act together and is able to do something, he has a talented bunch of kids this yr, that could be a special group...of course if Westside makes it as far as the beavs does i'll be rooting for my Renegades, but if they dont i'll be rooting for the beavs!

thank you all for the kind words but to add to the worries of the death of my father and friend from high school, i just found out about 45 mins ago that another friend of mine is in the hospital and they are expecting him to die as well he was in a 4 wheeler accident today his skull is crush and the left side of his brain is totally damaged, not even functional from what i understand i've been told that they are doing surgery on his skull, going in to open it up and try to reduce the swelling on the brain i guess only time will tell, they say the surgery is to last about 2hrs, i should know more by 3am so for those that pray, pray for him cause the bad thing about this situation this boy use to know God and be a christian and now he is out of church and just the other night (saturday) made some dangerous comment to a preacher friend of mine as to if God was real and for it to be proved among other things...so be in prayer

i just got word that my dad passed away Wednesday night in his sleep my mom and dad have been seperated for yrs now, but still me and him was close, my dads sisters said they couldnt find any numbers for me or they would have gotten hold of me sooner, said that they done and had his funeral, had it yesterday on July 9th they said the funeral was a success with some of the important military leaders from Washington attending my dads funeral, they said he had the 21 gun solute from not only the local VFW but some present day military men too, said he had the flag over his casket and a bunch of other stuff im just in shock right now, my dad was a good guy, only in his 40s, who was some what healthy and had been all his life just goes to show you that life is to short and that death is no respector of persons, so really cheerish those that you have around you today cause you might not have them tomorrow and for those that might be in situations like i was with a split up home, get to know both your mom and your dad as much as possible, despite of what might have cause the split up, you still will only have one mom and one dad through your life, dont take them for granted and love them as much as possible cause you wont have them forever, trust me i realize that now my aunts say they're suppose to be meeting with lawlers later this week, not sure for what, but they said i might have to be there, they said they'd know more tomorrow and would let me know so really i ask everyone to be praying for me in this trying time of my life! thanxs and God Bless

For Westside the longest away game in football would without a doubt be against Sissionsville (Westside is located near Oceana in Wyo. Co.) S-ville is about 10-20mins if not more above Charleston

yea and from what i can see and read on different sites, its already started huh? oh well Bluefield can have football, just as long as Westside has its chance at basketball, that's the one i care most about...lol

Bluefield is starting to shape up and look dangerous for not only football, but basketball as well even with out this new kid, i still think Bluefield will be a threat when going against anybody

lol, no need to hate, if you all keep "recruiting" like some say you are, you all will as dangerous in football and basketball as say oh Wheeling Central?....lol seriously though if the new kid the beavs have to their addition proves to be a decent bball player too, the beavs could be most the most loaded team in AA this season could be a good yr to be a beaver and beaver fan and as for Rob, if only he could have done to Logan what he did to the Beavs the AA title would have been in Wyo. Co. again oh well maybe next yr?...lol

hahaha you're right Logan did win the AA title in the state tourney, however Westside's won it at the Mt State Coal Classic the last 3 yrs in a row in 2003 you had Westside, Tug Valley, Poca, and Indy Westside beat Indy and Tug beat Poca and in the title game Westside beat Tug Valley 70-58 in 2004 you had Westside, Sissionsville, and i dont remember the other two teams, anyways Westside and S-ville met for the title with Westside winning 71-63 and this pass Coal Classic you had Westisde, Wyo. East, Winfield, and Indy...well Winfield came back from being down 14 in the 2nd half to Wyo. East to beat them and Westside would get pass Indy to have a rematch from the semi finals the previous yr at States when Westside and Winfield would meet there and Winfield would be Westside by 1pt, and Westside would turn the tables on Winfield in the title game giving them there first loss of the season, by only 1pt to retain to Coal Classic title this yr really looks like it will be interesting at the Coal Classic, i just wonder how they will set it up personally, i hope they dont have Westside and Wyo. East facing each other in the first round cause that would totally suck seeing how we done and face them 3x's in the already, i can handle the championship round should they make it there just hope it aint the first round i personally believe it will or should look like this Westside/Pikeview Wyo. East/Bluefield to set up a possible Westside/Bluefield rematch in the title round and an interesting rematch at that, either way though should Westside and Bluefield meet in the first rd. or title game, i believe it will be a lot different game than what it was at the State Tourney (but on my end, i'd be hoping for the same out come...lol) as for the kid that supports the #44, that would be Chris Blankenship, he started a few games for us as a freshman, but was basically the 6th man off the bench, this past yr in his 10th grade yr he was among the starting 5 all yr long, and i look for the same from him again he was among the State Tourney team this pass season, and all state team and either has or is gonna be playing in the USA JR Nationals taking place in Ohio this month i believe a lot of folk will be looking for big things from Chris this yr., i guess its just a matter of waiting and seeing what he does here's a pic of Chris sporting the #44 alot of pics of Chris and the other Westside Renegades taking on Bluefield from the state tourney can be found on by following this link Westside March Updates just follow the link, scroll down the page and you'll find links to the picture page as well as commentaries on the game as well
