Nobody on here is debating his mobility or athletic ability. He's an asset to the team,but at QB you have to have an arm, Gone are the days of lining up and running all over folks. If you want to go far you absolutely have to throw the ball effectively to keep the defense honest. Right now to stop predictable Union just load the box.. This has to change or it will be an early exit.

.To say that Graham would win 8 out of 10 is absurd. What nobody is saying is that we can't accurately pick a number because we simply did not see EITHER team at their best, but it sure isn't like Graham was physically superior or next level from the athletes the Bears put on the field. Both are dead even IMO. Graham did a little better job at executing than we did, and that was the difference simple as that. Football is about execution, and we failed miserably last night at this. Here's hoping that both play clean next time around (if we get a rematch). No excuses from the folks in BSG. You beat us fair and square, and we'll shake hands and move on. Just don't talk to us about how you allowed this to be close last night when we made more mistakes than you did:)

Had either team played a high caliber opponent in a playoff game tonight they'd be cleaning out lockers Monday. Neither team played anywhere near their best game. Here's hoping we see a round 2 and a best effort from both teams. Poor job by both Turner and Palmer tonight. I know I'll take heat for this, but you will NEVER see me dogging on TEENAGE kids. That is classless, punk, garbage stuff, but when you're an adult that is compensated to do a job it's a different story. You even still rarely see me all over the coaches, but tonight both failed to ensure discipline and control. Way too many garbage flags in this one. The standard at both Union and Graham is better than that.

Guess Shanghai retired? I always enjoyed him and Gulley calling games. They always made me chuckle.

Having good, experienced, used to winning coaches like B.I Salyers and Robbie Norris can only help a program, When I posted in the D1 thread the words do not sleep on Rye Cove I got a laugh at icon. I'm telling you that program is on the rise. Their middle school programs,JV were very stout last year,and they are seeing greater numbers. The Eagles will be a force in the CD. It's way past time:)

The obligatory post since every other game has a thread:) Norton tends to play very hard vs Union,and regardless of what others may say this is indeed a trap game. Union has been sharp so far. The Bears are due to be sloppy. Norton makes it interesting for a half but gets worn down by the deeper, more talented Bears in the second half. Union 34 Burton 14,

Thank you for saying that before I saw that classless post, It's easy to sit all comfy and cozy and slam that bunch. Walk a mile in their shoes. You can best believe that were Twin Valley on our schedule,the vast majority of the folks in BSG would understand. There's SO MUCH more to life than this little game.
