that dude who announces goes just a tad overboard.... all season he did!! during the bath game just sounded like an idiot. he even don a 6th 7th grade game one day acted the same way till the little rebel team went up 22-0 at half then he never said a word

everyone says ph returns alot of players who seen alot of playing time.... but with the lose of groves and thompson i just dont see it.. i was impressed with holston when i watched them play last year. even with the lose of mefford they play hard. heard n'wood has a ton of height butseen those kids very thin last year. plus if im not mistaken thee frye kid is hurt. but they have a pure scorer in(cant think of his name) led the hogo in scoring last year. so the answer to the topic.............WHO KNOWS

BURTON ISNT down they have a good shot at run at the state title this year!! you will have a much harder time with ph than you think heck you always do. think they had ou guys until te 4th quarter last year..... now you could have a chace against battle

hey i hope im wrong!!! but doesnt G_Dub lose alot almost every year??? and they still post a strong team!! they played a very tough non schdule last year. i tink at the point that G. Wythe was 0-4 the comp. they played was a combined 16-0 or 15-1. but this is a new year and heck for all we know st. paul(lol) might beat holston first game and they go all to hell!! I will say the district is Georges Wythes til they lose it. I am very happy for Holston know a few of the kids but lets be realistic.....plus you are talking about playing clintwood... they lost alot too!!! I do believe Holston will make the D1 playoffs but heck all they have to do is win 3 and they are in!! but good luck!! Glad they Moved PH to the last game...Maybe they can throw snowballs instead of trash

would love to see holston win the district.... but the thread asked an openion and i gave mine. its always g-dubs until someone else takes it... last year g wythe wasnt that good but still was good enough to take the hogoheegee

holston beats ph one every 20 but done it last year and will do it again this year

well its George Wythes to lose... Isnt it always??? last year had 2 other quality teams to have a chance to do it and they couldnt beat them....Holston will have the best chance(in my openion)

Darren Evans returns from a 1000 yard season but not really a homerun hitter....Ryan williams which is highly recruited will be a redshirt freshman and from what i seen in scrimmages he is really fast and really really strong.....then add in true freshman David wWilson(which I've just heard that may be the best thing since Kevin Jones) to hit campus. so where do thje hokies go with this situation....this isnt a bad one to be in but i like to see a runner gain confidence and it will be hard while rotating 3 backs i know tyrod has the qb position locked down but tech really needs to work with whoever is the #2 guy because tyrod isnt durable.....heck for all we know 6-6 logan thomas may get pretty good at the qb postion ANY THOUGHTS????????

seen where abingdon won by 7. herard ph led most of the game til the 4th quarter.(just like alot of there losses). had an abingdon fan post awhile back that ph nowhere close to the class that abingdons bball team is in....well if your going by points then i guess ph is 7 classes down.
