muncy is a good high school player as far as college we will have to wait & see. glad to see the kid get what many before him should have received a chance to play D1 football. it's not the fact if he plays at wake or not but the education & the once in a lifetime opportunity he will receive by signing that D1 scholarship. not to mention the free education the young man now can be whatever he wants to be. i would be surprised that tazewell would play their starters all 4 qtrs. it's a meaningless game for the dawgs. figure 2 qtrs w/ the starters & let them get the much needed rest for a run in the playoffs! tazewells goal in this one is not about a win or a loss but to survive without having any key injuries.

I coached the kid in midget league football & have known joel since he was 10 years old. as far as i know he was never held back!

Think back about 2 weeks ago you was flapping your gums that Richlands would be lucky to beat abingdon, graham, tazewell, or well even grundy. Think after last night the shoe is on the foot of the all mighty gmen now! Another thing was you one of the 250 Graham bandwagon fans left when the game ended last night or one of the 500 that remained at halftime. keys to this game will be 1) turnovers & 2)the graham off. line vs the richlands front 7. this game should be a good one no matter what the records are.

don't think politics has anything to do with it. i think it's a case of the junior class having a little sorry A** in them. The junior class is probably the worst that has ever come thru!

Alot of juniors have quit - think again they had about 4 or 5 when practice started back in August. The plus w/ the lack of juniors is that alot of fresh. / soph. are getting playing time. The negative is the lack of experience but the younger guys are starting to step up.

ghs84 - think if you transfer you are not eligible for a full school year in virginia. once enrolled in school & you transfer in the same school year i heard you have to sit 1 year. but guess one can transfer after school is out for the summer you can transfer then & be eligible.

the blues will be a new look team this week. from what i heard today thay have made some major position changes. Who knows if the blues can limit their turnovers could be a interesting game. we'll see what happens friday night.
