I think that this game shouldnt even be close. No disrespect to craig but they lost alot last year. Bland seems to be on the right track. I think they will play very hard to try to get the bad taste out of there mouth from a close OT lose to East Mont.

Should be a close game. i think eastmonts weak spot is at the DB positions. they are very stong up the middle. blands weakness is the lack of age. lots of youth. should be a very close game.

How did this go from pocy to the longhorns? someone be the bigger man and stop talkin back. Now as for the actual discussion on this post. Pocy is 3-0 and bland 2-0 i think it is amazing that the two so called "weakest" teams in the district are at the top. (i know the district is week so dont go on that rant about they play weak teams cuz i know this already). Im Glad to see both the teams do so well. I hope it lasts all the way till they face. that would be awesome. Imagin unbeaten pocy and bland facing off to see who will remain on top? lol

The win vs TV was VERY sloppy. the key player were Tyler Pennington, Josh Shrader, and Thomas Willis. on O Tyler had 69 yards passing on only 4 passes one for a TD he also ran for a TD, Thomas Willis had 3 receptions for 65 yards and 15 yards rushing, on the other side of the ball Tyler P came up with a very impressive 17! TKLs. Josh Shrader had 13 and Thomas finishing with 11 TKLs and 2 Ints.

this is the way the MED is looking after week 2. Bland Co 1-0 upcomming game: Auburn Fort C. 0-2 upcomming game: East Mont. Galax 0-2 upcomming game: Open Grayson 0-1 upcomming game: Rural R. Narrows 0-2 upcomming game: Craig Co. Pocy 1-0 upcomming game: Roanoke Cath. I know its only week two but i think its funny that the two teams that were picked to be last are the only teams with a win. i think they (BC and Pocy) will win next week as well. Thats sad to hear, i figured they would have wanted there last season as the Owls to be a good one, i guess i was wrong. My hats off to the kids who did step up and choose to play. Good luck guys. and stick with it

Wow Big Creek must be in for a rough year. Motcalm is not that great a team to be losing to 20-0

Holston has a OK team but to be playing in the district they do i think they will stuggle. i wish them the best though.

they will be playin Bland Co. as long as they still have a team by then.

Bland scored 3 TDs and gave up 0. There Tds came from Soph. Kris Kennedy, and Kyle Kennedy and Sr. Thomas Willis. They will be playing Holston Friday at Home. agains one of the fastest QBs in Va

Bland Co. is going to be scrimmaging Motcalm saturday at bastin. should be fun to watch. Are there any other scrimmages going on tommarow in the MED?

He was one of the highest rushers against Tech last year and thats pretty good. Also Marshall is a passing team and they also dont have the best line.

All i know is that he is an "impact player" on NCAA. personaly i think that is AWESOME!

the only main lost i can think of is the realy big TE and the RB #7 (brown). im not sure if they lost there QB. they should be a good team they had a great O last year not so great of D

last year the BDT came out with a list of the "dream team" of this area. (AA and A) and on that list for the 1st team O was a WR from Bland by the name of Thomas Willis. Im not sure is any others from the MED where on there id say Turner from Narrows was on there because he was a all state player.

I think that Bland will have a pretty good year as long as they stay focused. The reason there is hope for them is because the MED is probly the weakest its been in a long time. Realy no one has the edge because every team lost a pretty good bit or players due to grad. Its a toss up this year i belive anyone can take it. Pocy might have a rough time but they still have a chance like everyone else.

I think that RR will probly be the best team in the hogo this year. GW lost way to many key pleyers. they will still be good no doubt but if they win the hogo that will be a pretty good acomplishment. Holston has that realy fast QB but iv heard thats all they have and you cant win with only one man. Northwood will not have the year they had last year. they lost a few good backs. and i dont know much about the other teams. just my thoughs ill probly be wrong like always lol

who led in recieving and passing stats last year for around this area (swva)? i know 2 players from Reg. C had over 700 yards and 10 tds. i dont know much about the swd district recieving and passing stats.

I wish the MED would get a few more top notch players that way maybe people in other districts would start giving some respect. i know for a fact that as far as individuals there are a few players that could be stand-outs on teams like Richlands and Bluefield and Graham. its just that you cant build a team around only 1 or 2 great players. it will only take you so far.

HAHA there were shotgun shells there. Also there were little spots of coal spread around across the field. That place scared the crap out of me cuz of all the stories iv heard about it. But the fans were very respectful after the game. they were quick the complement a player on a good play and they all had positive things to say. During the game you would have though they would kill you as soon as you stepped of the field lol. But that is the way it is supose to be. I wish every place had fans the respected the game and the players that play in it like big creek did. At Eastmont. you have to walk down the road to get the field and after the game fans were cussin at us as we walked to the locker rooms. thats what you DONT DO!
