Who will be the top idividual proformers in the Region C this year?

Bland is going to be in it i belive and they have a good WR (Thomas Willis) but as for a true QB they are still not sure who will take over since last years QB was a SR, and the second string is the starting WR. they are talkin about moving a RB/MLB from last year (tyler penninton) to QB, as of now that seems to be the best set up and the switch has a good upside because Pennington and Willis are both upcoming SRs and are not only good, smart players but they are best friends off the field as well and ever football player know good chemistry is a must.

Eastep is a great ball player and still is growing ALOT. he is only 15 he was supose to be a freshman but got put in school early, so he is hitting his growth spert now. another player from bland that will be important is nate gore who was a critical player on last years team (great ball handler and court awarness) if it wasnt for nate they bears would have never won the MED tourny. and thomas willis is playing next year! lol

this is wat i think will go down next year in the MED. passing will be dillon from pocy (due to the play call) receiving will be willis from bland (all state honorable mention as a JR) rushing will be maxwell from FC (had over a 1000 last year i think and still didnt get all MED)also sims from galax ( as a sophomore he did very well) tackles will be pennington from bland (1st team MED his JR year and missed 2 full games due to injury) INTs will be a toss up between a few players shrader from bland (had 3 as a freshman), willis from bland (all MED last year at DB)

This post is for people in the MED that get bord reading all the post about SWD.(even though they are the bigger schools). The small schools need love TOO! Who do you think will be the leaders in the MED for all positions and who do you think will be the players of the year for O and D? please everyone tell me your thoughs. ohh yeah try to keep from fighting about posts. thanks

is this just stats for swd? if not this is my pridictions RUSHING STATS-Tv kid(not the best team, good player) PASSING STATS-Pocys QB(cuz they pass 90% of the time) RECIEVING STATS- Thomas Willis from bland first team all BDT WR as a JR TACKLES- josh broyles INT'S- the kid that had 7 last year from richlands. (7 ints thats awsome) SACKS- dont know much about the big uglys up front but i bet it will be a kid from richlands.(they are loaded GOOD LUCK TO ALL PLAYER IN SWVA AND I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A FUN AND SAFE 2006 SEASON!

Big Creek will still be playin football in the upcomeing season as the Big Creek Owls. One of our coaches at bland use to coach there and i asked him if they would still have a team and he said yes. They will just play away till they get a new home field.

i would like to know who the top up comming seniors of 07 in the MED the Hogo and the SWD?

the spread O is definatly a good thing to have because it forces the other team to spread the D and they cant put as many people in the box. if you face a team the runs 80% of the time you are going to design your D on stoping the run but if you face a team the run 60% passes 40% you are fourced to play a lil softer so you dont get burnt deep.

the wildest play i can think of was when the back up QB from bland ran a 99 yard QB sneek. it was called back though on a block in the back about 20 yards away from the play. it was an awsome run though.

i agree with Old Sckool. mark is a great player but he HAS to get more discipline i would like to see him go to the next level. good luck bud!

well bland did lose the game to a team that has lost one game. but this just shows you the MED isnt sucks a "weak" dist. i was at the game and it was a fun game to watch! good sportmanship both ways a kid from GW got his head busted but it wasnt on perpous. even though we lost im still glad to say im from BC
