Well, it looks like they lost another one. Cory Gearrin is joining the list of Braves pitchers having Tommy John surgery. Cant remember one team having this many pitchers out at one time with tommy john, sheesh.

Weekend storm aint gonna be much. Every single bloody model has a different solution, and the pattern right now doesn't really support a big storm here right now.

Yeah, speaking of the model changes, your right beamerball, woke up this morning, and theyre showing a secondary low forming along the cold front on late sunday night into Monday that at the moment is putting up 3-6 inches in certain spots, wasn't there yesterday. So its something for people to keep an eye on.

Wunderground is not the best place to look for weather forecasts that far out. Now, there will be a few chances for snow, near the end of the weekend, middle of the week, and next weekend. The one next weekend does show the best potential, but its a WEEK away, will change many many times. Im just about to quit looking at models until a day-2 in advance, last few systems have not been modeled well. One of the models....the EURO I think, shows for clintwood from now until 02.09.14 getting close to 18 inches, while that is HIGHLY unlikely,......i would friggin kill to see it lol. Just keep watching the local weather, could be interesting soon.

The arctic blast is gonna be something else. lol we will probably pick up 2-4 maybe 5 inches of snow in the most favored spots, but im gonna freeze my beard off Monday night/Tuesday morning.....going to be pretty darn near 6 to 10 below zero as actual air temps.......and every single state, even Hawaii will be below freezing Tuesday morning. Its been a LONG time since its been this cold.

NWS now shows -8F monday night for clintwood. It started the day showing 2F, so they def. keep dropping it.

Had some freezing rain this morning in Clintwood. Nearly did a 7-10 split in the parking lot of food city this morning. lol

Euro usually is a little too aggressive on the cold. but it will be pretty damn cold. NWS has clintwood on monday with a chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 26. Monday night cloudy at 5F for the low. Tuesday, sunny, High of 15, Tue. night with a low of 7F.......Way too cold for me. With regards to the snow, Sposed to get about 2-4, but i have a fear that the best moisture will be gone when the rain changes over to snow, so the storm may under perform. with the Sunday-monday system, still some differences in the models, but looks like an Appalachian runner, rain with some snow on the back end, might end up with the same as this one. I would like to see it come more eastward, sorta had a snow drought lately. But eh, im just an amateur, i'll leave the forecast to the pros lol.

Well its been raining pretty hard most of the morning, sorta slacked off now, but gonna be chilly tomorrow.

Got a good dusting of snow here in clintwood, Hearing reports that they've actually closed us 23 near jenkins in KY because of snow, several big rigs stuck. But its gonna be a little messy tonight/tommorow morning. rain most of the day tuesday then snow tuesday night wed. ATM there giving near clintwood 3-6 maybe more..........never had a white thanksgiving before.

Yeah, its going to be a mess, each model is giving a different solution, and even the slightest jog this way or that in the storm could mean all the difference. Right now id probably go with some kind of mix on monday night, turning to either rain or freezing rain in some sheltered valleys or colder mountains sometime on tuesday, then turning to snow on the back end tuesday night and wed. Everyone who is going to be traveling anywhere monday night through wed is going to need to keep an eye on the forecast.

Man, that is one hell of a running attack. wish I could come to the game and catch both of them.

yep 1998 I do believe, been a long time, we got close my senior year, either 13-7 or 14-7 we lost by. But Richlands should win this one.
