I've seen the UCONN/Rutgers rumors as well. NYC is full of Syracuse and UCONN alum, so if that happened the ACC would pretty much poach the NYC market from the Big East. Needless to say, that would help the ACC out where it matters most: $$$$$.

Wow. Seems like everyone they interviewed is 19 years old. We're still relatively young and in a rebuilding year it looks like. I just asked this question in the other thread we have going about SEC expansion, but it's applicable to Tech and the rest of the schools listed here as well. How much more money would they make if they made the move to the SEC (you know, assuming these kinda ridiculous rumors actually come true)? Let's be honest. That's the no. 1 factor going into these "negotiations" for lack of a better word.

Good post, especially this part. Do we know what the bump up in revenue for WVU would be if they joined the SEC? I would assume it would be a lot... too much to pass up even. But I think you're right as far as taking a step in the wrong direction.
