Going to be an interesting game. Collier and Reed both have missed practices this week. But with Bluefield's scary speed they can break a game open at any point.

how good should Bluefield be this year?

Still have Carlos Reed and a Richlands transfer at quarterback who has a really strong arm. I think they lost a lot on the line though.

Lots of changes at Tazewell, too. I see that Bill Dudley is on the staff now and Mike Williams is not.

Reese was selected but did not get approval from the school board for whatever reason.

Just out of curiosity what position did Fuller play last year. Looks like he's lined up to be QB at Bluefield this year.

Richlands biggest worries are at LB. The line will be just as good as last year, and that's hard to do given what we lost, but I feel this group could be special. The secondary has some good potential as well. I know they are trying out several different players in lots of positions back there to see what group produces best. If we can just find some consistent LB play, this defense can be more than capable of shutting down some teams and stopping others enough to let our offense go out there and put some points up. Just one mans opinion, however.

Congratulations to the Bears. It's sad that there are more posts on here about sportsmanship than the Bears getting the win last night.

I've always had great respect for that area of school's. My support will be for Union the rest of the season. Good luck.

It sounds like Bluefield can score at will but let's everyone else they play score at will as well. It's amazing for a school to put up 73 points...but sad when you have to do so to win it.

Graham went back to the yellow face masks and 3 stripes. But I think the stripes do not run the full length of the helmet

I have bias because I played with him....but Leonard "Sugar Ray" Graves. 2100 yards rushing as a junior in 11 games and 1900 yads in 9 games ad a senior.

Being a G-Man the first person I thought of after Bradshaw was Housewright from GC.  He could out run you or run over you.

School board approved fall coaches last Monday and he wasn't on the list.

Don't know if you would consider it a coaching change or not but....former Graham stand out Chris Austin has apparently been named O-line coach for the G-Men.
