It was the best game of the week the last time they played, with RHS barely escaping with the win, and I think it will be a nail biter again. This is a tough one to pick. Both defenses are playing well, and both offenses have sputtered a bit. Turnovers and special teams will decide this one. UVA 23 VT 20

Lots of good ones to pick from. I don't know how anyone can say who's the best of the best, and I don't see many defensive players on here. As far as running backs go, Earl Campbell was one of the best, Bo Jackson, Hershel Walker, Jim Brown, Barry Sanders. QB's, you have to put Roger Staubach in the mix, Vince Young was a game breaker...etc. There are too many for me to mention. All were great in their own right.

You know what guys, this is not about you, it's about those youngsters who played their hearts out all season after being down 0-3 and fighting back, beating RHS, and winning the Southwest District. I don't know what happened tonight, but Graham has nothing to hang their heads about. Be proud, stop talking smack. You should all be above that. Congrats to Marion...they played a great game and will be tough to beat. Don't think RHS doesn't realize how tough Marion will be, and the game will be decided on the field, not by posters saying Marion will destroy RHS or RHS will destroy Marion. Both Abingdon and Chilhowie had respectable records, and it's a shame they aren't being allowed to play because of this ridiculous playoff system. And don't jump all over me for saying the system in Va. is ridiculous, you have almost all agreed at some point.
