  1. I am not trying to badmouth richlands. i have nothing but respect for richlands and what they do as a program. They have great players, tremendous coaches and will definitely be in contention for a state crown. You have some people who cant have a mature discussion without being insulting.
  2. The bristol paper must be making up fake stats around 480 yards worth. It must have been an illusion that a td was called back. Upon further research it was two all-region kids who started both ways for CS not playing that must have been an illusion. It was said "to be the man you gotta beat the man" Let me ask you this, who is the man in region four this year? Don't think too long either. Damn son you got their 9 best and they still won. If they spotted you one more two way starter you might have gotten them.
  3. Yes without a doubt cs beat graham badly don't really care. Comical comparison maybe but when the td was called back against cs it would have made it 35-14 tack the last one on it's 42-21. The most comical thing is cs had almost 500 yards in the game. Would have had 600 had two penalties not occurred on two huge gains. Comedy is four first team on d giving up those kind of numbers. Btw the funniest thing of all was mentioned on the radio cs top two players (two way starters) were injured and didn't play at all. Good thing they didn't but hey that's comedy for ya. You gave up 35 to their 18 best and could have easily been 42. Might have been more had they played but you know it's a bad comparison since you gave up 35 and graham gave up 42 a week before when they had all their players.
  4. Let me break this down 1st half richlands 14 cs 7 2nd half cs 28 richlands 7*with a touchdown called back. graham would have faired better if they didnt play a state champion and state semifinalist the first two games. guess they could have scheduled a lot of single a schools so they could win more games. But being slow seems to be a problem for a lot of people
  5. I didn't get into an analysis competition. I posed a question about the number of points they scored and to my best knowledge stated what facts I had. Graham was scrappy and moved the ball on everyone. They scored 40+ several times. I don't know that they deserved four all region selections. Either way score was 20-14 at the half with richlands. They played with them for a half before richlands pulled away. A blowout is beating a team soundly for four quarters.
  6. They did pretty well against the swd. Didn't they score at least 20 against everybody and 35 or better against three district teams. They didn't fair so well out of district. What is amazing to me is the two regional champions had so few on the all region team and graham had four. Works out funny sometimes.
  7. Numbers turned in to the state indicate between 750 and 800 per vhsl
  8. Didn't Bluefield and Christiansburg scrimmage? how did that go?
  9. If this is in fact true who walks through the revolving door next?
  10. Couldn't make the game because of work. Who was it that got ejected for throwing punches?
  11. Seems like you're comparing hurley to pulaski and I would guess their power rating. Also I would say region d and c seeded teams don't compare to the top 3 in d4 region 4. Hey you can argue a lot of things I never said strength of schedule determined power points only that it creates a gray area. If the teams you play schedule cupcakes it inflates your rating with their easy wins see grundy and abingdon. Maybe pulaski should have scheduled some cupcakes. Then they would make the playoffs like some other aa schools. You make some excellent points and it just goes to show the flaws in the system.
  12. Northside may be the region three team and there are still four teams left in region four
  13. I guess you could look at the schedule in this way CS played the number 1,2,3 seeded teams in the region four d4 playoffs and played the 2,5 seed from region three division three and region three d4 seed five equalling 7 aa playoff opponents while the tornadoes have only played one division 4 opponent who was a four seed in region four and of course the rest of the swd who made the playoffs 5 aa playoff teams in all with lebanon gate city and powell valley being the single a playoff teams.remaining teams abingdon wins versus two weak single a teams and grundy. Grundy 4 wins versus very weak teams and one versus a decent tazewell team.remainging teams for CS PH-Roanoke aaa not very good but managed three wins pulaski who must have played the the toughest schedule in D4 played three one seeds, two two seeds, a AAA playoff team and was in basically every game they played except for a few. Blacksburg same schedule as pulaski they played three one seeds and two twoseeds also. If I were making an argument no doubt this would be mine. Forgot to mention of course CS played d3 seed #5 in graham. This is the gray area argument on power points and the tie. But none of this really matters anyway its who scores the most on the scoreboard.
  14. debating is a form of arguing isnt it and it will always be opinions that are debated
  15. Good to hear they are healthy.
