Working on a Va -Ky game in the Spring!

This years 2015 FCA -SWVA East Versus West Senior Bowl is scheduled to be played at Emory and Henry College on Sat. Dec 19th. Coaching the West All Stars is Doug Hubbard of Honaker . East will be coached by Jeff Robinson of Chilhowie. West team will practice at Honaker High School. East Team will practice at Emory. Each year has been great meeting players from all over SWVA. If any of you would like to help promote this years game just let me know.

Movie based on a true story. Race relations were horrible in 1973 in Birmingham Alabama. Gov. George Wallace was totally opposed to integration. One school integrated and came together. Woodlawn high school. Watched the movie last night with my wife and it was great. Jon Voight plays Bear Bryant. Woodlawn's football team and the Banks Jets do the impossible. Movie centers around faith and courage. If you haven't seen it I recommend it to you! We saw it at Norton Cinema.

Coach Clark is a fine man. He helped coach our FCA All Star Game at Science Hill a few years ago. His son played in it. We definitely will be praying for he and his family. Sometimes life hits us in unexpected ways. May God comfort and console each heart that hurts.

Gretna will have a hard road with Dan River and Altivista. And I give Va High the edge over Lee. Graham should make it in with their remaining schedule.

Grundy needs to win out and beat an improved Ridgeview. Gretna may not make it..They play Dan River and Altivista...they should beat Nelson County.

I think Lee and Ridgeview and Grundy are bubble teams. Ridgeview needs to win out. Lee will be in tough games with Central Wise and Va High. Gate City can get lots of points with a win over Central.. Graham gets in in my opinion. So does Martinsville.

Who do you guys think will be the bottom 8 seeds? I think Gate City gets in. I believe they will beat Central Wise.

When do the Power Points come out? Curios to see if Ridgeview has a shot at making the playoffs this year.

Ridgeview Red Tiger. Union is due for a flop...almost happened when they played Gate City. Central might be the one to take down the Bears. Football is unpredictable. Alabama crushed Ga. Ridgeview defeats Gate City, etc...

And if Central upsets Union then the apple cart is turned over. Central is playing better than they have in years. Will be a great game.

Lots of folks predicting huge win for Union tonight. I see as a closer game ...

Should have stated it like this.... Wolfpack had a pitiful passing night. Balls were falling way short of intended receivers. When you can't make a few long pass plays , you struggle. And Artrip looked limpy..not 100%.. Using the tight end more may be helpful in the future.
