Anyone with score of Abingdon vs Jsb?

Im just wondering what the VHSL rule is on football practice if schools close early due to it been to hot?

Any one know if Marion has a scrimmage?

Why did Abingdon switch districts for? I dont see it saves them money for traveling?

With all the regulations on practice what schools still use the old 2 a day schedule? I've heard of some the just take like a hr break and then go back for short amount of time

Well after surprising north side and majority of the ones on the forum, How will Abingdon match up against them? This should be pretty good there Coach Harless played at AHS and Emory.

What's the status on Yates? I know he went out of the game last week after the head to head hit and never came back in.

The difference in this game will come down to special teams or which coaching staff can out smart the other with something not expected. Both teams are good and both teams have great strengths and some weaknesses. Both teams will leave it all on the field because they both have something(bragging rights) to fight for. Ahs a win over Rhs and SWD Champs. Rhs beating Ahs giving them their first loss and becoming SWD Champs again. I respect both teams and the coaching staffs. I believe it will be the best game of the year and may the best team win.

Corrections......With the Falcons flying high as of now and the Bearcats coming off the Gate City loss, who has the edge in this game? I know Va High has a passing game and a decent running game. Can they slow down the falcon offense? Can the falcon defense hold their own with Va High?

would Abingdon have better success with running or passing? I think they need to work on running game more cause with Richlands and VHS upcoming they have DBs to cover AHS receivers

I know that Lebanon is down this year but have they improved since start of season? I just hope AHS doesn't come in overlooking Lebanon.

Update on AHS vs Graham

Now halfway thru the season what will be the games to watch now? We all wanted to see Gate city vs Richlands and Union vs Gate City so what games are left on the schedules that will be good games?

So is Graham better then Gate City this year?

AHS has looked good in its first three games and pulled out a close one against Blacksburg. I haven't seen Graham play but looks like they have been playing very well this year. What's the thoughts for this game?

I'm sure Mance will have a copy of this game to study!

Is Blacksburg more of an air attack or do they have a good ground game?
