Also when the Simmons kid posted up he was met my several players from Central, He saw Jordan Bishop, Brody Allison or Elijah Hayes when he went to make a post move. And if I'm correct I don't think he scored in the 2nd half either.  Now I've watched a lot of high school basketball over the years and I have to say that Richlands has one of the Classiest basketball staffs around, not sure of the head coach's name but he is a Class

In football, the SWD had the best team at the top and the next 4-5 best teams were M7 teams (and that juggernaut SWD team was 1-1 against the third best M7 team FWIW). In basketball, it's looking like the M7 has the best team at the top with GC and the SWD has one team in the next group of the 5-6 best teams. But please, continue touting that win over Lee. I could see making that post if Graham beats Central (which is possible), but after beating Lee? lolol

 

Richlands lead half way through the middle of 3rd quarter Central never lead until then Richlands played 6 player's until the last 2 minutes Central played 11 player's  Richlands run out of steam Richlands starter out played Central starters

Abingdon and Radford. It's pretty clear now that these two are not what many thought they would be. Abingdon is actually not very good and Radford, I told you guys at the beginning of the year was overrated. Yes, the 3 major injuries but even with them guys, this is a team last year that benefited from a weak Region C and not great Appo team and they made it to the semis and got clocked. They were about three plays last year from being a 7-3 team and this year, they got Hobbs back and still lost to Floyd.

What I'm getting at is, Richlands signature win over Radford and pretty good win over Abingdon doesn't look nearly as good as it did. If you look at the Graham game, it was a blowout, and the Union game, it wasn't a blowout but Union beat them by a score more lobsided as I think they've have had in that series since PV combined with Appy.  Richlands lost to GC in game 1 which is a 4-6 team. They played good against Bluefield but still lost. Added to this, Richlands name and history carries incredible weight (and it should), but I'm not sure. I think Central is going to win this game close.

Union beat Richlands twice. Gate City beat Union twice. The game is at Gate City. McClung, Ervin, Barnes are better than any player on Richland's roster. Gate City will beat Richlands by 10 to 15 points.

Let me just start off by saying never again. Never again will I subject myself to the ignorance displayed on Friday night.:mad: The night started off with me having to park on a hill side beside the road and I was scared that someone was going to hit my ride or even scratch it. I mean can you guys claim your facilities are nice yet you don’t have proper parking over there? On the way in, a house on the left had hounds barking which caused us to jump out of our skin. I mean if you going to live that close to a school, don’t have loud dogs! That’s Freaking Backwoods, bro. Speaking of backwoods, never again will I sit on that visitors side and have to walk thru all the wild kids running around playing and having to dodge all the footballs being thrown around. Were are the parents? Let me pause and say I want to personal thank you to the parent of the little shrimp who stole my Falcon cap. My boy knocked my hat off and it fell under the bleachers, to which a little kid picked it up and would not throw it back up to me. Instead he elected to run off with it! Who’s raising this kid? The bathroom was out of toilet paper so they used your hat, so that accounts for the brown water.
