I must be eatching a different blues team than you are they need playing time together I know all the kids and they are better than what or how they've been playing. It comes down to playing time with the way the weather has been. Anygame would be netter than none. And I was there all day and I saw the email and all and was talking at the front door beside the office and heard the dir tell the team to turn around that richlands was not coming and that was around 430 15 till so they players might have known but they did not in bristol. Also the tea. They had to play may have been a cake walk but like I said there are some good teams in this tour every yr and this was our first and we cancel yea well be nack next yr yea right.

I love the blues but this was a stupid move you need playing time. I think by the end of the year with playing time together they are better I watched both games. Little mistakes lost the gh game. I was there yesterday also and personaly seen the email that was sent to every school involved including my blues and it was sent and responded to last Sunday so they like eveybody else knew for a week. Lost for words can not defend somthing this crazy.

Went down to va high to watch the blues but they where a no show. The ad got a call from rhs ad around 420pm for a 7pm game that they would not be there. The team that was going to play the blues had to turn around and go back home. Just want others opinion with the weather and so many missed games I think we needed this extra game time. I do not think the g men or cc either one are better than us but we lack chemistry and somtimes you only get that by playing. Secondly for years I've sit back and watched everyone around play in great tournaments that made them better. We get in one this year and stub our nose to them very smart on our part.

That's the point I was trying to make not that threfs where out to get the blues just made calls that they where out of place on and anyone that's ever helped or ref anything knows you do not call ot if you don't see the whole thing. We need college refs for the state games.

And let me add I ref for ten yrs so I'm not saying the refs where 100% after the blues from what I saw just 75% lol. No I just think the talent at the state level is far far out of reach for the talent of the refs I have said for yrs that the state game should be done by college refs. The talent that you see at state just wows you. The college ref see that kind of talent all yr. Our ref don't. The pass int call at best should have been a no call if not off. If you don't call offe then its a no call. The td off of the push off was the same ref out of place and not called that's fine but and we all are told this from day one if you don't see it don't call it. Sounds stupid but you don't call it if you didn't see it all then end of a play can look like a foul but the start of it could be legal so you don't call it..... just my thoughts see y'all in june for 7 on 7

I agree congrats to poq they had the best d I think the blues seen all yr. But we had our chances. Over threw austin in the endzone early. But poq ran the ball well we had them stoped 3 times for what would have been long 4th down tries that where whiped out by face mask calls. And the first passing td was a push off and it was the same kid that pushed off on the interferance call on us that lead to a td. Then at the end of the game you have first and ten on about the 16 I think four plays later your looking at 3 and 31. I said last week we would have our hands full with poq but the refs would be somthing we could not controll that was aparent to all that made the trip. 43 yds to 97 yds in the first half alone I think and 15 of theirs came on two false starts and a motion that you have to call lol. But with all that said the blues had the chances but it just was not ment to be . On the last pass int. Call you could see the life go out of the blues that killed them and that was again on a third down play just sayin.

Well put I'm not dump enough to think that all calls on the blues r bad but when the flags are 5 too 1 against the blues that's bad or you are saying that mance let's his players just do what they want. A lot of flags to me shows lack in disaplen and that does not sound like a mance team. I will have my camera with me and if I think I see a bad call I will post it and you can make your own mind up on the call. I just feel if we where the same team from the east we would get more calls in our favor plane and simple.

They did one day outside and three inside last week so id say inside the high school gym.

And the ironic thing about my last statment. The worst I ever seen mance go off on a ref was in the 06 state game when think it was wicks came out of a pile with the ball and gave it to the ref while they where still pulling kids off the pile to find the ball guess what the ref gives the ball back to rockbridge just sayin. Let's see that's the same game we had a great kicker like this year and for the entire first half we kickes from the 35. No it don't matter where in the state ur from. Was told today some body has richlands ranked 5 in the state in aa there is only 4 aa teams still playing so the blues are in the tittle game but are not one of the best 4.

Not crying but it was just strange to me that once the score was 24 0 how many more flags did we get and I agree it was bad on that particular player to do that but you don't think it was strange. Who was the single a team that got the flag at the end of the game for tossing the red the ball and vhsl even said that was a bad call but it does not change the record books. I do not boo on every flag but the flag on devon for blocking that kid I did it was a clean block if you get knocked down that's football it was a clean hit but it was flaged or was I watching another game. The flag for roughing the passer called on us could have went either way then the next to drives we had the hits on lockhart where later than what was flaged on us nothing. You do not see mance go after the refs a lot he did three times sat.

I just think the blues will roll. 2 weeks ago the islanders ran 66 total plays and 61 where runs and 65% of those where up the middle not happening with thomas and devon at lb. Blues play their game they win by what ever mance wants. Anyone that was there sat saw 5 and 2 and 6 did not want the ball anymore speed guys do not like getting hit. Also seen there number 2 back number 10 plays both ways should be a great first half our size will take over from there

the story on the blues going into the playoffs was weak teams all year that we did not play anyone everybody we played made fhe playoff except for g men pioneers and the bull dogs so hum real weak I guess what's that say bout the brookville teams. Its just plain as day if your west of giles I would say you don't play anyone. And they try to keep it that way I know that the blues had 6 flags to the bees one until the score was 24 0 then the flags stoped I would like to think our kids out of the blue became a flag free team but I don't think so anyone that was there disagree.

I agree the flags where one sided. I saw devon block a kid that was bout 5 7 and the ref called him on it a legall hit and it was flaged. Then devon ran the ball to the sideline and they threw a flag heard someone say roughing on the running back it was funny the flags got so bad. Seen the roster for next week they are very small have three over 225 I thinl is what I saw.

Yea bhc did not even have a write up about the blues in todays paper. But they had a page and a half about the eastern montgomery qb front page of the sports sect.

I think its mental also if any of you where there 2 yrs ago standing line to get in the gate when the team got off the bus they where beat then. You could hear a pin drop no hype in anyone. They are full of sr that have done it all but win state so I think it will be ok. No one wants to say it but just by the out come of regular season games close game with northside wich beat cs by 2 tds and the one team they lost to salem beat ill not be scared to say what a lot feel deep down inside blues by 2+.

The only thing for sure is va wants him at lb but said his grades had to improve. And bud foster is foaming at the mouth for him but again grades

Yea he is a goord player just hope he hits the books. And that scouts see him in person his stats for the regular season did not look impresive unless you take in that he had 978 yds ant 19tds and missed 2 games and only played in 1 4th qrt in the 8 games he did play in so you could in some aspects stat wise double that right around 1800 yrds and on the low side 23 tds if mance wanted to leave him in and get those grat lookin stats.

O agree cs had more speed but their entire d was not that much more impresve than grundy other than devon runnong the ball grundy did better than I thought. But not many have stoped him. I just don't think all the credit should go to the cs d nerves I think counted for 35% of our o getting stoped that's all.

And I have not seen cody miss a wide open overton or johnson in the same game except for week one and I think that one was also because of nerves. I wish he had another yr or 2 left he has god given talent I think mance could mold alittle. This is as far as cody has made it so yea he has the right to get the jitters just take a deep breath relax they can not eat you. This week should be better.
