i listened to a little on the radio, i don't know what the final score was, i know logan won by double digits, can anyone from hurley give any details on this game and how good logan was or did hurley play bad?

they are pretty solid, they are pretty athletic, and yeah they are pretty good...lol...but twin valley isn't that good...they won't beat hurley for sure, and they will have trouble this year in the bdd...they can't score it with any consistency, they play as hard as any team that i have seen recently, but the hard truth is that they just don't have alot of "basketball" talent

hurley will finish first....twin valley i believe has the advantage for second but it will be a very competitive battle for second between them, grundy, and honaker....i don't know if twin valley can score enough points to beat grundy and honaker but i heard they are playing some great d this year....grundy, idk if they have the toughness and the defense to beat twin valley and honaker but they have ben rife and some other key role players on offense....honaker will play very hard on both ends and they have the dye kid that is very skilled, but can they beat the other two? idk....it'll be interesting, but hurley should win it and lose and bdd game if they play like they are capable, but im predicting they won't do that every night and they may lose one game

where are they playing this game at?

I know at least one defensive starter is in game for rlands and they are up 58 to 0....can someone tell me y risk the injury

im from neither school and had no dog in the fight, but all the time that was put back on the clock was justified, it ran a few seconds more than it should numerous times...i enjoyed the game though, some good hits, some big plays...i think that honaker was the better team but hurley might have played a better game just couldn't get the first downs at the end when they needed too...definately pulling for honaker next week, congrats to hurley, especially the seniors, you all have had a great couple of years

If hurley, twin valley, and grundy were combined the would beat honaker

What makes people think this will be any different from the first meeting?

need some opinions on what will be the best game to go watch either on friday night or saturday...id like to watch clintwood play or richlands play, but im confident both will win so i'll probably do that next week, so needing what should be a good game

oh yeah i have played over there a few times...before they did whatever they did to it...i always enjoyed it, however i wasn't a speedster by any means so it played to my advantage a little...haha

i think it will be a closer game this time, and if austin's receivers catch passes and have no drops they might have a chance...i think the defensive coach(coach davis maybe?) will have a good game plan for the second match up

they tried moore at fullback some last year and just got chopped down he doesnt know how to play that position cause he is a great lineman....he didn't perform on defense like i thought he would this year, but did ok on offense...the reason that they only scored 9 i was told is because the line didn't play great, and the conditions were absolutely horrible...i guess the same reason hurley only scored 6 on rye cove

he had a few tackles, missed a couple, didn't play bad, not like hurley will act like he did lol....austin played great, he had a couple, well more than a couple actually, passes that were dropped...i don't think bergalow had alot of rushes but they did an ok job on him for the most part...adam quinley reached the 1000 rushing yards for the season, he came into the game needing 40 some not sure on how many he finished with...but shannon played incredible, ran over pretty much anyone that got in front of him in open space

tv played pretty good...and he must be famous in hurley cause the cheerleaders took time out of their day to make a sign with his name on it haha...hurley just had to many athletes tonight when the spread it out and made some plays, and their defense played pretty good...but it was 14 to 9 at halftime and twin valley could have come out and scored on their first possession and made it one heck of a game but couldn't...good luck to hurley next week

id let him sit out this week against twin valley, then be healed up for playoffs

yeah dye is a tight end...if stanley from haysi was taller like waynick from hurley he could be legit number one and probably have offers from some pretty big schools....runs his routes perfectly and has great hands

council would win that one....and i agree that you can't go back and compare teams, its kind of crazy, but interesting to talk about in a way...i just got one more thing to say and im done, so if anyone else wants to get the last word on me this is good chance cause we could argue about this till the season starts lol....idk if garrett was better than kt or not, but i can see why you would argue that...and lastly, talking about shooters everywhere, to think that twin valley's 2006 team wasn't like that is crazy....kent was one of the best long range shooters the bdd has ever seen, kt could light it up, and so could shortridge, and lester could hit from outside and put him at the foul line and baldwin in the post, and that was pretty tough to guard...but like i said, someone will come up with something about huley that is better than this so we'll just keep on going if we wanted too....so it's been fun, and like whiteflight said wish we could actually see these teams play but we can't....ya'll have a good one, and good luck to all the teams, we can talk more basketball when the season actually gets here

you talking about wes being young just gives me another reason why twin valley would beat them....kt and kent would dog him and he wouldn't be able to get the ball up the floor if they had to play man...but i think they could just play zone and be fine
