Congrats to everyone that moved on after this week of playoffs, and congrats to everyone that fought hard to try and keep their season alive, I will be pulling for everyone of you that is going into the second round of the playoffs, good luck and bring some hardware back.

CORRECTION. they were up 28-0. Sevier comes ALL the way back and beats the #1 team. Dobyns Bennett may be the biggest choker in football I have ever seen. That was sad.

Wythe will roll....the small team from northern scott county shows a lot of heart though, and you have to admire it.

I don't watch nascar anymore, but what i hear about busch reminds me of Earnhardt. and that is a good thing. Nascar is about to point of the NFL, "don't hit him, he might not win the race, if you can't pass him just let him win" Pathetic.

Yeah that's what it was. Tyler didn't even start playing football again till last year, this is a blow not only to football but also basketball, He was injured earlier this year with a shoulder injury. It sucks.

The Clintwood/GC game last night. Just amazing football, just like the last time we played. Just think about all the other amazing games we could have had if we wouldn't have took each other off the schedule for the past 2 years? :(

Agree, it's been crazy. Gate City starting 0-3 and coming back to 6-3 is pretty amazing seeing how everyone was so down and distraught after that. One of my favorite season's ever honestly... all of the wise county schools are surprising me. Playing pretty good right out of the gate.

Well the regular season will be coming to a close tomorrow night, I was just wondering what were your guys favorite memories from this past season?

Congrats on your decision, But I would recommend either online courses or a community college (trust me, going to a CC is one of the best economic decisions anyone can make in these rough economic times, and then later transferring onto a bigger university such as ETSU, UVA-Wise, or Radford) and i'm sure all you need is a bachelors, heck maybe even an associates, but preferably a bachelors. It doesn't require to much to get hired as a teacher around here. I hope it all works out for you man!
