The pass interference play is on there, the Official running with the play signaled INCOMPLETE PASS, the official in the end zone threw the flag late, Our guy did nothing wrong on the play. I guess the official that threw the flag, his thinking was oh SHIT its 4th down they will have to punt with this game tied?? The holding flags at the end when we were 20 yards from taking the lead? 4th and 36 from back at Midfield, we were not gonna score, they were gonna make sure of that. You know Poquoson had a great team, and could have won without all the help. I feel sorry for the seniors who worked their butts off for this. It is funny all the area schools get their kicks out of Richlands losing. Id rather go 13-1 and lose the state championship by 6 pts than go 1-9, and have no hope of sniffing the playoffs.

My Dad always told me that the Gate City teams in the early 1970's were almost unstoppable. As far as what i have saw, Richlands in 92 and 06 were darn special. Our team in 2005 with that Defense, if we would have beaten Turner Ashby, would rank up there as well. Also the PV teams in the mid to late 90s with Thomas and Julius Jones were great. I was standing down close to the field in the 90s when we played PV, and Thomas Jones broke free and Jeremy McCommons ran with him pretty good for a short distance till Jones Kicked the turbo in, Thomas Jones was the best player ive ever seen in person!

First of all Richlands does not play Pheobus, nor will play them. Gee What if...........Emory and Henry played the Pittsburgh Steelers or Richlands Midget leauge played Va.Tech. Dude its the same. Didnt see anything like that, and more so, if the Refs had saw it, it would have given them another chance to reach into their pants and throw yet another Flag! There is a reason that those schools never go far in the postseason in NE Tn, they are just not that good. Very good when they play each other, but not outside the area. Richlands has the best Coaching staff in SWVA or NE Tn, period. The Richlands Kids work hard in the weight room year round. Just add all the State Championships up from SW Virginia Schools over the years from Gate City, PV, Appalachia, Richlands, Graham and even one from Tazewell back in the 80s. How many State Football Championships from the Eastern Tennessee Schools?

Abingdon played with the Blues for a quarter and a half bacause of the Refs. Reminded me of the Bluefield games several years ago. Bradley Strong will only complain outloud if their is a problem. Falcon fans be happy 60 were not put on you! Coach Mance is not worried about all the Fancy numbers, like Shutouts and scoring above 50 or more every game. He knows we have a State Championship caliber team this year. We get to play kids from 9th grade and JV most every game, Most teams cannot do that.
