So they don't want to serve 2% or whole even though it says "fat free"? I'm so confused.....then again, I'm no dairy farmer and don't even know what skim milk really is exactly. I think it's good to push more fresh fruits and veggies, and even more juice and water to drink as an alternate to milk, but just changing the kids' diets in school won't solve much. They need more exercise and with more schools dropping recess and giving kids more ways to skip gym class, it's no wonder our obesity rate is on the rise (among other reasons).

What in the world was she missing from her apparently lacking lunch? I mean, she covered the meats (turkey), dairy (cheese), bread, fruit (banana and juice), and technically vegetables (chips). So they think she didn't have enough meat or something? Though, chicken nuggets are more or less the ground up leftovers of chicken after all the good stuff is cut out.

I'm actually a Dallas fan, but I think it would be really interesting to see him in Washington. And I don't care what anyone says, I'd stick with Romo for Dallas. Too many young guys as it is right now, don't need to add another fresh face, especially at qb position. They just need to work on their defense....offense just needs to mature.

I'm alright with computers and such, but I've got a bit of a problem.....or just an annoyance really. I used to use Internet Explorer for everything, but I decided to switch because it just got to where it was running slowly and freezing up a lot. I tried Firefox briefly once, but didn't like it much (been a year or two ago, so I don't know if they've updated a lot since then). I've been using Google Chrome lately for everything, but in the last couple of weeks it seems to be doing the same stuff IE did, freezing up and losing the page. What does everyone recommend is the best?

Walmart killed Food Country in Bristol a while back and now it's claimed Food Lion in Bristol. We're not hurting down here though, lol. We've still got 2 Food City's (one of them is building a huge new building to move into right across the street), a Kroger's (in Bristol and Abingdon), a Walmart on TN side, and some other places nearby.

I'm all about science fiction and space and such (I've read just about every Isaac Asimov book out there) and years ago I would have given him my vote just based on this....though that would be stupid. Now though, I realize that even if we do have the technology to start something like this (which we do), we definitely don't have the money and the way things are looking, I don't think we'll have the money in my lifetime. Kind of a bummer actually.

Wow, mines: Economic Left/Right: -1.12 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.10 I'm pretty much on the line when it comes to social issues. Thought I'd be on the right in economic issues (though I don't pay that much attention to economics anyway).

I think that's just how it is in the City of Bristol, lol. It's like the snow (if we get any at all) stops dead at the city line. I live in the county, literally just down the road from part of the city line and my road is ALWAYS covered (and being a little crappy, gravely backroad, it gets really bad) but as soon as you hit the end of my road and drive less than a mile to the city line, it's clear as a summer day.

Just saw where unranked Notre Dame beat #1 Syracuse and unranked Florida State beat #4 Duke at the buzzer. I guess I'm gonna have to start watching some college basketball now, looks like there's been some great games (I've been paying too much attention to the NBA to watch college lately).
