They are matte black with a simple orange "V" on the side. Almost the exact same "V" UVA uses. I think VHS is outlined in white.

Good luck finding a coach that will want to put up the politics of Abingdon. It's worse there than in Bristol. I don't think the coaching is the main problem with the program.

Now the tricky part is if Gate City loses to Central in girls. They'll tie atop of the conference, have the same conference winning %, and same overall record.

Gate City has the #1 seed no matter if they lose tomorrow at Central or not due to a better winning %. I'm glad we beat them but in reality that game meant nothing.

By the looks of it, Gate City will be hosting if they don't somehow screw up against Central in boys and girls.

I'm from Bristol but I'll sum this up real quick. Kids from Volunteer, Sullivan North and now Lee High leave to go to Gate City because they want to win. I hate Gate City but I know they take an average athlete and make them great. It isn't because of the competition being weaker but because Gate City knows how to train and make especially gifted athletes. The Rasnic kid who is from Lee County. Would he of had all those tackles playing at Lee High? I doubt it. I'll take up for Gate City. They don't recruit, why? Because they don't have too. Those banners in the gym say it all....just the truth.

Not really. GC gets the #1 with a win at Va High or Central. GC will beat Central. So no matter what happens in the GC @ Va High game, GC will still win the regular season and will be the #1. It would of been interesting if Va High won.

Wait teams this way haven't been threats? Hasn't Virginia High and Gate City repped the boys the past 2 years? And hasn't Gate City's girls made deep runs the past 2 years along with Central?
